It's starting to take shape, Random.
You've got to laugh at Sportal. Funny thing is that they still probably have no idea that their forums are struggling. I imagine someone pumping out a profit margin graph for a monthly report and THAT will be the first step towards someone taking a look at it. Coincidentally timed with the end of fantasy NRL, they'll pass it off and nothing will change.

They wont realise until somebody looks at a report showing the site visits. That forum would have counted for a LOT of them, given sportal is pretty terrible journalism. Outside of the forum, I would never go there for anything.

Hi everybody! It's Stew here. Thank goodness there is somewhere else to post now. Unfortunately Stew couldn't sign up as Stew for some reason, so you can all refer to Stew as Terrific from now on.

Hi Krump. All Stew wanted is for someone to say "Stew is terrific". That's all Stew wanted.
Stew and Krump were friends once.

I've been trolling them a bit over the last week or 2 when they post their random click bait on Facebook . It helps take some of the pain away of them letting the forum collapse.

I hope sportal fantasy NRL is still on next season.
What was the prize, a $100 voucher to some online store?

Was thinking of running an eliminator next year. $5 entry, winner takes all. Still yet to figure out a way so everyone can deposit online / winner can withdraw into their account.Big Diesel wrote:I hope sportal fantasy NRL is still on next season.

Just a way to up the stakes a little bit and make it more interesting.

In . Higher stake I reckon too; unless you would think about the $% and then maybe a $50 or something.

Re: Sportal Down?!?!?!
Open to ideas. If there were enough entries it could be the top 3 receive a certain % with a third place playoff. The deposting / withdrawing of funds is the biggest issue. Need to find somewhere secure or maybe a second person such as Honeysett could be the bank. Id prefer something easier online where everyone can see all entries / get a receipt.SI wrote:

Wouldnt want the entry to be anything too big either. A small entry fee is the best way IMO, plus a great way to attract new people to the site. Might be able to get RLW Mole to retweet about it or something.
