I see the question as how ?
How do we re-direct the sportal team ?
How do we raise the profile ?
How do we attract advertising ?

We have accountants how about they re-direct some funds to make it happen

I figure if we just make posts on the sportal forums if it comes back up.

Also I know a few guys follow KFP so he could post his twitter. If he posts on here. For the most part though it will probably getting traffic here would help create more traffic. That combined with teams listing in the Fantasy ladder generates interest.

Maybe send out bulk PM's if Sportal comes online again, at least that way people should get an email. I'd do it but those fuckers only gave me a 5 message inbox.

Weapons Facebook group might allow us to post a link to the new forum - many people are members of both.
Even renegades might let us too if we ask nicely.

I think most of the core users will find there way here. The issue is going to be all the casuals who won't check the site between now and February. We need to make sure we have an easy way of redirecting them when they come back next season

Yeah I can see the struggle there. The main thing we can do is "if" sportal comes back up is having a fantasy thread that directs them this way. But yeah it would be a somewhat long process to get the amount of views/guests rotating through the site as sportal had.

On the mobile version of this site, every thread opens on the first page. Then you have to skip through every page to get to the last page.
Very annoying, can it be fixed
