Then he has the Eels in 17 which could be without Paulo, RCG, Matterson, depending on Origin selection

Priced at 42 is bit of a gamble but I need to take a few now

Thinking should probably trade him but I don't particularly want Moses or Brown. Maybe I'll just move Burton to half now that I have Aitken to partner Penis at centre

Nothing to do with NSW vs QLD. Was technically illegal tackle, over the horizontal. Lands on his back, not injured, fine sufficient. That tackle an inch diferrent on the lift would be applauded as a great tackle

The fact Yeo wasn't taken from the field last night is a bit of a joke.

Also, if Matt Thompson is the commentator for 9 moving forward then 9 are in a world of hurt - woeful call.

Just adding my two bob's to the potential Hastings trade out.

I hadn't really entertained the thought of trading out Hastings, until last night. I am very hesitant to cut him loose because we have seen his scoring potential and he could be one of the few R17 must haves that can be final 17 players.

That said I am starting to lean toward trading him out, for the following reasons:

Last night at Origin he is still in the moon boot. I understand this may be precautionary but it is still a bit of a worry.

With the change of coach, Sheens has said words to the effect that Kimmorley's only job this year is to bring through some younger players so that the new coach can make a decision on who needs to be part of their roster in 2024 (players are free to negotiate for 24 in November).

Jock Madden is on the bench and Jock had a great game for Wests in reserve grade last week.

Utoikamanu who has seemingly been playing with an injury under Maguire, has immediately been rested once Maguire has been sacked

Not to mention 80 BE. The last round 21pts playing 80 seemed related to his injury. Many have mentioned nerve issue in foot which could trouble him for ages. Too many red flags

Yes and if Madge was still coach, he may well be trotting out in the 17. I don't think anyone knows who named the Tigers team for R14 however If Uto has been encouraged to play injured under Madge and has now been rested by Sheens then the same could happen to Jacko. Particularly if they want a closer look at Jock

Some said earlier that Jazz is the kind of player who could turn around this week and become a keeper and it's stuck with me. I think if I hold though he'll just keep tanking the cash he's made me and be a trade anyway. If I could afford that I might risk it, but my team value has been going backward lately so not sure I can risk holding him and/or Hastings.

Hastings has nerve damage. The only way it will heal is complete rest. Every game he plays just delays the process more. Two weeks off helps for sure but he needs like one month rest with it. The way he looked in the sheds a few weeks back at HT was concerning.

Jazz is a good player but just can't see where he gets 40-50mins with the current squad.
