I realise raw stats don't tell the full story, but in 2020 he averaged: 26 tackles, 1TB, 1.4 MT, 0.5 errors, and 120 metres.
In 2021: 28 tackles, 1.8 TBs, 1.8 MTs, 0.2 errors, and 140 metres.
2022: 32 tackles, 1.1 TBs, 1.8 MTs, 0.6 errors, and 100 metres.
Slight reduction in metres this year, offset by an increase in tackle count. Errors, TBs, and MTs in line with 2020 (remembering he only played 6 games in 2021 so not a huge sample size).
Last night: 25 tackles, 3 misses, 0 tbs, 133 metres.
Happy to be proven wrong because like I said, haven't watched him particularly closely and stats don't always tell the story. Just wondering if it's a case of fantasy goggles, this narrative that he's been awful for the Roosters? To me it kinda looks like he did roughly what he always does last night? Slightly more metres but slightly fewer tackles.
He's the forgotten man in a stacked roosters pack. His last two games for the chooks won him the bench spot imo. Proved his worth and beyond too. Solid player and working on his handling too.
