mrbrownstone wrote:I admit I haven't watched him that closely, but has Collins been that bad for the Roosters this year like some are making out?

I realise raw stats don't tell the full story, but in 2020 he averaged: 26 tackles, 1TB, 1.4 MT, 0.5 errors, and 120 metres.

    In 2021: 28 tackles, 1.8 TBs, 1.8 MTs, 0.2 errors, and 140 metres.

    2022: 32 tackles, 1.1 TBs, 1.8 MTs, 0.6 errors, and 100 metres.

Slight reduction in metres this year, offset by an increase in tackle count. Errors, TBs, and MTs in line with 2020 (remembering he only played 6 games in 2021 so not a huge sample size).

Last night: 25 tackles, 3 misses, 0 tbs, 133 metres.

Happy to be proven wrong because like I said, haven't watched him particularly closely and stats don't always tell the story. Just wondering if it's a case of fantasy goggles, this narrative that he's been awful for the Roosters? To me it kinda looks like he did roughly what he always does last night? Slightly more metres but slightly fewer tackles.

He's the forgotten man in a stacked roosters pack. His last two games for the chooks won him the bench spot imo. Proved his worth and beyond too. Solid player and working on his handling too.

Jamie on the youtube channel mentioned Havili as still a pickup for 17. I can see him getting the useful 40-45 minutes of late and maybe going up 100k by Rd 18

I'm looking at Havili in, Scritta out, but just have this gut feeling not to get rid of any penny backs due to coming up against the knights then the Warriors

Hmmm interesting. Should be very useful in 17 with Murray, Cook and Arrow away.

Imagine he would slot straight in at 13 or 9?

    Just posted this on Discord:

I'm keeping and playing Tago May and Scrita next 4 Knights Warriors Roosters Tigers. Why sell backs from best attacking team in comp?
Points in R17 don't make up for less points Rd 14-16
Selling Hastings this week maybe Butcher. Next few weeks looking at selling Koula Davey Elliot Sexton ahead of Panthers backs with great draw

No I stayed home but the new place is freezing much colder than the last place.

Not unexpected. Hoeter and Kennedy probably to slot in.

Side note, just realised Piakura is on the broncos extended bench too, he's a gun but looks like Capey pulled up okay so doesn't get a shot... yet.

Ah right, that's no good mate! Should get yourself a dehumidifier if don't already have one.
Those things are godsend for a cold/damp home!

Won't be surprised to see more than the usual number not back up this week after the nature of last night's game, was so bloody fast and some of the contacts were epic!

Klemmer still a strong buy this week with Mann coming back and possibly affecting the minutes/rotation?

Looking to upgrade Tevaga to Klemm. I see him as between 50k-100k underpriced with how he has been going.

Just a fantasy question - who would be the best loop option teams for the run home?

As in most like Saturday/Sunday games, would anyone happen to know?

    Cheers

From Round 16 onward, the Tigers and the Raiders have no matches on a Thursday or a Friday, so they are probably your best bets. After those two teams you could also probably get away with a red dot from the Sharks or the Knights

Had to sell him after Warriors game. So sick of his body language and hands on hips etc

He had the flu all week and didn’t train once leading up to the warriors game. Been a dud pick by me but his poor effort was actually a decent effort considering

The trade discussion thread was up for 2 days if you thought Ramsey/Klemmer/Havili would be good options

Nobody else thought them good enough to suggest
