I don’t watch the manly games often. But his scores are obviously improve with minutes. Last two he played 80. For a 40 average. @367k a 40 average will be okay to sit around the 18-19 spot. But admittedly he isn’t the most appealing option

Solid team mate. I'd hold trades this week.

Think RFM and Barnett are the guys I want this week. Just need to find the best combo to sell which isn’t easy for various reasons

    Ilias - R17 but expecting a 35
Hastings - R17 but broken and not sure if he will regain his scoring touch
Fermor - Solid enough at the moment
Butcher - Solid enough at the moment
Billy - Expendable, happy enough to move to RFM

In my search for a hooker this week I'm starting to come back around to giving Randall another shot. 550k, Crossland out of the squad and think the return of Mann probably keeps him out? Plus plays R17. Brailey listed as being back R19 which would give him 4ish games, 50 average makes close to 150k from here.

Can someone talk me out of it?

So you traded Randall out as did most but want to trade back in to trade back out again?

Also 50 avg next 4 is around 60k rise

I can see where they were coming from but as I said, I reckon a lot was just easing back in from a long knee injury.  I think someone said with May and Tago in, he takes less dummy half runs?  I can't comment on that one, but he seemed pretty active last week.

I'm just looking at the fallen gun strategy, it's working well so far this year.  I want IPap badly but in previous years I've cooked my team by paying top dollar for 1 player only to leave myself short in multiple areas.  I have to wait on IPap and be smart, but as I said, while Ted and Pap will be the priorities, To'o was my new Nofo last year and at 555K, it's enticing, even with Origin.  Welshy nailed it last week picking him up for 517K.
Who would you move on to get him?

Don't know if it's really worth it given Aitken just plays 2 less rounds presumably. I don't think his edge spot is in question given he's a better player than Murchie but the two concussions are a worry.

You don’t see any chance Campbell plays origin 2 or 3?

Billy to RFM I like. Most likely doing something similar, Tass to RFM.

Hastings I'd ditch, unless you think the two week break will help get the foot right.

I guess so yeah. Does sound wrong though hence the post. Through poor management I have ended up with only Cheese as hooker. Plan was to hope he could bludge along for 35-40 average between origins and then get Cook in post origin. That's now looking unlikely. Other options are Mahoney, Brailey neither of whom I'm very excited about for the price. Mahoney I guess is likely good enough to make a final team but the extra 150k is very useful this round. Maybe just need to go that route instead and alter plans elsewhere.

How do you get the 60k figure? My mental math was 50 average is about 700k but I guess it takes a lot more than 4 rounds to settle?

Thinking of playing RFM and using Vailea to loop Mam and Harris, sound ok?
This is my team set up at the moment

    Robson
    Lolo Crichton Haas
    RFM IPap
    Cleary Burton
    Penisini Tago
    Hynes Manu Mulitalo

    Elliott
    Ming
    Butcher
    Vailea

    Mam
    Harris
    Koula
    Kiraz

Can’t really see any worthwhile trades, any suggestions?

Haumole. Even just for the fun of watching him play.

Destroying sides and putting up huge scores the last few weeks, despite limited minutes.

The magic number is $12900 so 50 avg is $645k and will take lot longer than 4 games to reach that with 24pts 3 games ago

Looks like you going for R17 Hooker. Why? I'm not even having 10 players in Rd 17 so covering positions like HOK is irrelevant to me

Lots of discussion around bye rounds and players being rested, but no discussion on players being rested for Round 25. Based on the current ladder, I would see the most likely candidates (obviously dependent on their competition for top 2, top 4, top 8 ) being top players from:
    - Panthers
    - Storm
    - Cowboys
    - Broncos (how did that happen?)
    - Sharks
    - Eels

As well as the likelihood that players switching clubs get rested, over the last few rounds in favour of guys coming in next season, to start getting some first grade experience - especially from some of the lower position clubs:
    - Tigers - Taulagi, Garner
    - Warriors - Aitken (or moved to CTR)
    - Bulldogs
    - Titans
    - Knights

Yup, I simply have a team full of Raiders, Sea Eagles, Rabbitohs, Dragons, and Roosters. Easy.
