Hastings put up a respectable 40 after I traded him. I mean Volkman scored 8 less points for over 300k cheaper so think I got that trade right.

Volkman a good pick up this week?

Could use the Halve cover and decent cash out for Tago to build up abit of a war chest to upgrade Kiraz, Mam, Koula soon.

How did Kiraz get a TA but not a LBA? If he assisted in the try, then he also assisted in the linebreak.

Oh well, I'll take it I guess.

That’s what I’m thinking too that Volkman is a better option than Kennedy. I think Volkman will be the better cow make money faster even though he doesn’t play round 17.

I’m eyeing off Tago to Volkman then Tohu or Arrow to Ipap for round 17. I’m not worried on not having many round 17 guys. I think I’ll keep May given he’s nearly the top try scorer in the NRL and his DPP I’ll keep him as a 17th/18th man option in a loop where I can. Kiraz to Pap is an upgrade I’ll look at in round 17/18.

Happens all the time - player broke the line themselves, could be off a kick etc.

993 for me this round, went up from 3.6k to 2.9k so starting to make back the ground I lost in round 13 and 14.

My round rank is 1016 so I'm probably only 1-2 points short of top 1000 (which sucks because I actually use those vouchers)

There was no line break, Averillo toe’d it through to the in-goal, trys from kicks have never been line breaks

Thoughts on whether May has too much value to keep as an 18/19th man and back cover? I have Koula and Ramsey for backup CTR/WFB also but May is better than either of them and could come in handy covering injuries in the backend of the season. But its also a lot of cash to keep outside the 17 every week, when I could use his value and upgrade to a R17 gun like Matterson

Well the guy in first currently has 6 round 17 players of which one is Matterson, so it may not be a bad idea to pick him up too. I would wait until after round 16 though, he has a high break even and May is probably better value than Koula & Ramsey in round 16.
Unless you want to burn 8 trades between now and the start of 17 to get 14 players on the field for the bye round.

It wasn't a line break. Averillo kicked ahead off the ground. Bloody lucky to get the TA tbh.

Absolutely a TA, was a great play, try doesn't happen without it. Absolutely not a LBA, there was no LB, never is off a kick.

May's putting up keeper centre scores isn't he? I mean, who else is out there who's that much, worth-a-trade, better than him to pair with Burton?

I have one centre too many, so likely going Tago to Papi next week, which puts May into the centre alongside Burton. Because I still have Vailea can run permanent centre shenanigans between May and Koula in 20/21, though I'd imagine that will mean taking May's score most of the time. If I had the trades would *maybe* switch Koula for a high-ceiling R17 guy (Ramien/Suli), but doesn't seem worth it when running low for one extra score.

*Edit* I see you have Aitken as second centre. Trickier decision, so the above counts more as general observation than your specific situation. However, maybe nuts but I'd actually consider selling Aitken if it's your route to an absolutely top-tier DCE/Murray/Cook gun, but I don't know your bank and trades situation. (And I'd probably consider it then decide against it, but just throwing it out there.)
