I’ve seen R20 return. Could be a stretch too far for me. Kind of on the fence because I love watching him play, but I need all decent hands on deck to make up for the shit.

Don't know why it's taken so long to try this tbh, team looks much stronger that way.

Depending how much you want to read into half a season, he didn't score very well at centre for the Warriors last year.

Tackle breaks have been nerfed which was one of his strongest sources of points at centre plus his tackle count is going to go down

Maybe he's still in keeper territory for CTR standards but it is 629k you could use elsewhere.

Ahhh that's annoying if its the case! Just after bye and I'd hold I think, but 20 might be a round too far

I've probably got the trades to get him back in if I i dumped him.

Was wondering this morning why eveyone was intent on dumping him when I seen him named this morning, then realised playing CTR again. Sad

Was already on my trade out list with the concussion concerns but this confirms it for me.

Going the cheaper route, and getting Garner for his bye availability

    Aitken - Garner
    Butcher - IPap

    Maybe
    Cotter - Klem

leaves me 250K and 8 + 4 trades after the moves.

It’s NRL Casualty Ward that has him at R20 return. Seems a long time including the bye week just gone, hopefully we get some more news this week.

Are his stats not boosted by the 2 tries though? Garner averaging 44 in EDGE this year, with 2 tries. Base of about 35

Bird Avg of 37, take out the 3 games where he was missing every tackle due to his arm and he's 42.5 with 2 tries.
Base looks very similar and that's with Bird with little to no attacking TB's anymore and plenty of missed tackles.

Was going to cash down to Kennedy, but perhaps someone else will turn up next week, or maybe I won't need a full cash out. Not as if I was using Kennedy in 17 this round, might lose a little in cash rises but meh.

Butcher & Tago to Barnett & Hughes, pretty standard trades. Eyes on a few of Papy, Mitchell, Friz, Stefano, Kennedy, FBrown for next week to bolster R17.

Going to hold this week to loop Keppie/Mam

legacy average of 49.4 for Garner

    41.3 for Bird

As we are past half way of season, will come down to tries more than likely so no great shakes picking Bird over him mate

Will probably be doing one of these as well. Leaning to Bird at that price (wish I did it last week)

Jeez you’d want some trades left to be trading Aitken for another centre. Surely most still have one of Penis/Tago/Koula left. Think I’m just gonna play Penis and move Aitken to a gun

For Adam Reynolds owners via Courier Mail:

“It’s probably another eight weeks until it’s 100 per cent again,” Reynolds said.

“The doctors say it’s a week-to-week thing. it depends on how many whacks I get on it, so hopefully the Cowboys defenders run the other way.

“I have a dislocated fracture of one of the ribs. It was pushed inwards so their main concern was doing damage to my lung, but the medical team has done a wonderful job over the last couple of weeks and I feel good enough to play against the Cowboys.

“I think I can handle the contact. The needles are pretty good these days, they take away most of the pain.
