Not a sure thing for the whole season though. Losing teams change things up and our next two are must win

Oh and I’m bringing him in this week so he’s doomed

Elliott changing clubs had nothing to do with recommendations for/against him. I don't think he's actually signed anywhere back when he hit the starting side in any case.. People said not to get Elliott because Ricky is a madman who changes rotations at the drop of a hat. People just didn't have confidence that Elliott would remain starting hooker.

They were right too, although fortunately for Elliott owners he went to starting lock instead.

I don't think anyone was warning anyone off iPap because of the new club. If anything, the dominant view is that this was Parra's best shot at a premiership for a while and they would clearly play their best lineup all year. Most people avoided iPap for other reasons (not sure if 2021 was an anomaly or the "new normal)

Paulie G spoke to a reporter in NZ and Aitken trained at centre today just to make our decision even harder lol…. The plot thickens

Would you get Moses or IPap this week? The other player comes in next week.

Its crystal ball stuff really. People are off Haas but he's still the big dawg at the Broncos. Think he'll be back to his best in a couple of weeks.

Id be more worried they take it easy on Cotter's minutes once he returns. Second hammy injury for the season. High risk of re-injury. They've got a heap of mids at the Cows and can afford to spread the load.

I've got my eye on Haas as a recruit post round 18.

    Re : Aitken

I am tending towards letting it slide this week to see which way the land lies.....it will cost me a few bucks but tbh I'd rather have him in CTR for the rest of the year (but only if playing in the pack) as it allows the flexibility of swinging Burton up to HLf at any point

    Same re: Aitken

For me he's going to score enough playing CTR to be in the keeper CTR conversation anyway. It's more whether you can do something useful with the money from selling - e.g. 170k you get downgrading to Bird, or getting a gun in another position if you already have other good CTR options.

I'm prepared to lose a little of that potential cash to wait and see

Basically it would annoy me more if I sold him and he was back on the EDG in R18/19 than if I kept him for a few more weeks and stays at CTR averaging 40 but loses 100k in value. I think.

Looking forward to rd 17/18. The 4 trade rounds are decimating trade counts, people with 6-7 trades must be shitting themselves.

Nah I'm not shitting myself you're shitting yourself.

I think holding back 4 trades until R20 probably helps the non-planners and people like myself who are simply really bad at this.

Instead of running out of trades by R19, I'll be good to R22 or 23.

If he's going to make a good score, this week is probably it vs that Roos side

He played the Bulldogs, Knights and Warriors. His highest score was 37 with a try.

He played the Storm and got his highest score of the year. Matchups are pretty irrelevant.

On the contrary it might be the only time I’ve had trades that close to the end of season
