Man that papy junk time stint was beautiful, it had something for owners who were vindicated by bringing him in as he held price and put up a solid score, and also non owners who can easily grab him next week. Truly a man of the people.

3/134 for me, not outstanding but also better than both the Australian and Sri Lankan top orders so i'll take it

Yup I brought him in this week and am absolutely stoked, I don't even care anymore that we lost after that happened.

If Papy can do that when he's off a 6 week injury spell and having just had COVID, just wait till he's fully fit and healthy

Yep, all went well. Pappy is a gun. No one was worried at any time.

Ended up bringing them both in last minute for Tohu and Aitken.

    Worked out well.

Just need to figure out who to loop for Koula's 58: Kiraz, RFM or Mam

    Nice!

I ended up going against the crowd and selling Hastings 3 weeks late for BSmith

Solid first up score except for the fact he’s in 18

Considering how the game went and type of half he is I don't feel too unhappy with 44 from Hughes

Josh Schuster has played 40mins total across last two games. The final 18 mins last night and final 22 minutes in previous game against the Cowboys.

In those 40mins Manly have let in 7 tries (a try every 5:42mins).

The way pap scored that, is gunna make a round 17 purchase more ballsy than I was hoping.

Do you go off the 75mins, or the 5?

I assume the argument is some what irrelevant for players like him, known for generating points in a handful of plays.

Schuster played 80 min in the Samoan game, but much of that was spent walking around, with the odd flashy moment. Even if he has missed a lot of footy. He appears to be sulking.

Watching him play reminds me a lot of Bryce Cartwright. All the talent in the world but seems to have bought into his own hype and doesn't get anything going in the effort areas. I think Manly will probably regret letting Foran go so Schuster can play halves but it's a roll of the dice you probably have to take

    Hey @"WhiteLightning"

We've got a pretty interesting matchup in the league this weekend.

    Me    vs        You
    Cook      ---      Robson
    JJackson   ---    Tapine
    DBrown   ---     Elliot
    Walsh     ---      Angus
    Koro      ---      Moses
    Hughes    ---     Critta
    Barnett      ---   RFM

Fancy an avatar bet? It's going to be damn close.

Yep could have been a lot worse.
Didnt keep an eye on fantasy scores as just wanted to watch the game, and went to bed before the Papy mayhem thinking it was game over haha.
Thought I'd wake up to Hughes scoring about 30, so was actually pleasantly surprised after cursing going him for slightly cheaper than Moses

Rabbits21 wrote:Pap saved his score well as Manly fully clocked off. 55 with 2 tries and 3 try assists you would expect a 70 when that happens. Most of the game he looked like he was afraid of contact did no tough runs only made 27 metres in the first 64mins and didn’t wanna put his body on the line in defence.

I'm sure it was discussed at the time, but I was glad as an owner that he gave up on the Koula chase for that first try. Could just see him fucking up the last few weeks of recovery in that one moment if he'd given chase. On a side note, valiant effort by the young fella... Grant Anderson? Had a pretty tough game, but that was effort.
