A topic of conversation over the weekend was how many people traded Euan Aitken out.

By my stats he has ~1,600 less owners now then from when I got the data for BEs last week.

Yeah, without analysing the actual players, you definitely end up ahead on numbers. Feel like most teams average 8 or 9 this Round but were 3 or 4 short of your 16 in Round 13.

    3 left before the +4.
Will use 1 on getting Haas in and then, if the if Bludgers make it to the final couple of rounds, I'll luxury trade in Murray / Cotter / DCE (whoever I can afford).

Yeah, the FB posts suggesting 12000 or so trade outs seemed a bit unbelievable.

How does this final team look? Only need one more trade to get to it, Ramsey to Drinky next week, which I can do in one trade as opposed to using two on someone more expensive, leaving me 2+4 instead of 1+4 for the run home

    Cook
    Ipap, Matto, MKing

    Cleary, Munster
    Burton, Mulitalo
    Papy, Hynes, Drinky

Bit unbalanced with not much forward cover (not really counting Palasia, who'll get you maybe 20 most weeks) and no hooker cover at all.

You don't actually need Drinkwater. Could play Ronaldo at WFB and loop two of May/Koula/Avo through Vailea every week. You probably don't even need all of May/Koula/Avo, let alone another WFB. I'd probably cash one of those to Cheese to get you hooker cover and get whatever primo forward you can afford (preferably Murray) instead of Drinkwater. Or play it the way you are without hooker cover and get Haas or Difita (both within 30k of Drinky and falling) around R19.

Starting 13 looks as good as most will have. Its not perfect but, very few will be.
Bench starting to look a little shaky. RFM, May, Mam probably not ideal, but if that is what funds allow then that is what you have to have.

plus what rhinoceroo said about positional cover

The reason I like Drinky is that he's seemingly the best gun I can get in a single trade from Ramsey, position be damned. I could get Fifita in a single trade, but unless I see him starting in round 18, I don't trust him, while Drinky's draw is ridiculously good and he's been killing it.

Ramsey needs to make 16k this week for me to afford Haas in a single trade, but if I can do it and Haas is back in R18 looking alright, then I'll take him back.

Kiraz and Ming (regretfully) out for Latrell and BS9, leaves me with 11 playing this week, with 439k ITB to gun up next week.

6 + 4 trades left for the run home to hopefully charge into the top 3k (pre-season goal).

You think eight games of Drinkwater is going to beat nine games of Latrell, for 70k more?

(Having said that, still don't think you need another WFB in your 21)

Trades I’m thinking this week are Ming to Cheese and Kiraz to Papy leaving me with this

    3 trades

    Grant
    Lolo Cheese* Barnett*
    Crichton IPap*
    Cleary Hughes*
    Penisini* Burton
    Hynes* Papy* Mulitalo*

    Robson
    Elliot
    Harris
    Manu

    Mam*
    Kennedy*
    RFM
    Vailea

Tempting to go another cheapie to then bring in Ofa for Harris but then I’d only have 1 trade left for the next 3 weeks. How does this team look guys?

Agree Salah should be a forward, but I guess you could argue he plays as a winger.

But Jota was also named as a mid. Middle of the forward line amirite?

The pricing on FPL is also super lazy, I’m hoping they actually do both positions and pricing better and it’ll be a far more interesting game.

Jota was ATT last season. Salah and Mane aren't wingers, they're inside forwards in a 433

Cheese isn't cash out or keeper. He was on poor score after 1st 33min stint then came back and got 1 on 1 strip try. How much that worth? Did he get more minutes for 100th game? He could score great this round but is the trade worth it?

It's worth 12 points, so he scores 45 without it.

100th game had nothing to do with it, those things never do. Cheese was thrown back on because Melbourne were playing shit and he instantly provided something that nearly turned it around for them. Was their best player by a distance in a bad team performance. Bellamy isn't an idiot, if he's playing like that he gets the minutes, wherever he is next season.

He's been poor this season's but maybe the Kiwi test has given him a new spark. 415k for an 18/19th man who covers two positions and could easily average 45+ from here? I'll take that when I can't afford a full gun there. Risk that he continues to underwhelm but whatever.
