    Will also take some pressure of Wighton being the main threat in attack and allow him to pop up with Savage when it's right.

    You misspelled Seve.. and also Croker. Almost 300 games and people still call him Crocker Laughing

    Makes sense, not huge xfactor in those two

    Matterson or Ofahengaue?

    Matto has DPP and doesn't need big minutes to score well but costs 100k more so Ofa provides more value for money.

    I'm between Ofa/Matterson/Murray - may be able to afford Cook instead of Cotter/Grant getting Ofahengaue

    Matterson = 57.4 x 9 = 516.6
    Murray = 64.3 x 8 = 514.4
    Ofahengaue = 53 x 9 = 477 (+100k roughly on Matterson/Murray)
    Klemmer = 56.2 x 9 = 505.8 (+100k roughly on Matterson/Murray

    Think as earlier post, ladder is tight so Rabbitohs/Roosters/Manly in logjam can't really afford to rest Origin players

    Calculated earlier if they maintain season averages, depends on what 100k does for your team

    You do you, and I know you have a lot of trades, but you'll probably be wanting to upgrade Mahoney in a few weeks - maybe even to Robson -, so not sure about that one.

    I don't like the Robson to Mahoney trade either but Welshy also nets 112K.

    To give Welshy an ally in this one, im a Robson owner and I am very heavily considering straight trading him to Grant. He’s just been on the most purple patch of late with 5 tries in 6 games. I think that his current average and price is wholly unsustainable. Still doesn’t make Mahoney a tradein though Razz

    I have Robson *and* Mahoney, and Mahoney is definitely the one on the block for an upgrade trade post Origin. Hadn't even considered using Robson, purple patch or not.

    The last 4 games Robson hasn't scored a try in he's scored 63, 58, 63 and 50.

    He’s hard to get a read on. Sometimes he gets through a huge defensive workload of 50 tackles and sometimes the Cowboys are on a roll and hes dwindling in the 30s. Ive certainly seen him looking at a poor score and saving himself with a late try once or twice. He’s a keeper, but I think he’s flown too close to the sun with his price rises and if I could raise $100k from doing Robson>Grant for upgrades elsewhere, I will happily make that trade.

    Keep coming back to;

    Ming - IPap
    Savage - 220K
    Kiraz - Pap
    Harris - Ofa.

    Leaves me with 3K, 5 +4 trades and this team;

    Cook
    IPap* McInnes* Ofa*
    Crichton Barnett*
    Cleary Burton
    Penis* Manu
    Hynes* Pap* To'o

    Robson Tolo Elliot Aitken

    Kennedy* Mam* Koula 220K*

    10 players for the week.  Will turn maybe Penis and McInnes into Giraffe Neck next week.

    Not sure if its worth going a cheaper option over Ofa (Bird/Moses/Hughes) to bank some coin instead of leaving me with nothing.

    Any Elliot holders wanna talk holding Elliott? I had slated him for a R17 trade to Ofa but he has been so damn good lately its given my pause to wonder if it isnt backwards. Its pretty worrying that he went back to the bench and played sub 50 minutes though. He had the perfect fantasy game to make that 61 happen, but im not sure he can keep that up every week if the role remains the same. I think he will ultimately prove to be a sell, but the kid is just built for fantasy and its hard to turf him when he’a playing like a man possessed

    Id be keeping RFM, if he ends up playing 80 on the edge he will still make plenty of money.

    I think Ofa is the bankable asset. Can see a world where Moses and Hughes have enough sub-par fizzers to keep their average below gun level. Im worried about Brown in my team for the same reasons. Ofa is a rock for keeper scores and there aint no keeper like a R17 keeper Cool

    Until his scoring slows down, there's no reason to sell him.

    Well then I demand to know what conclusion you came to in your Ofa vs Matterson debarkle! Laugh 3

    Edit:
    Allow me to enlighten you with my own glass-half-empty views on these two, laced with the usual pessimistic undertones that expresses how I don’t really like any trade, ever.

    Short of BA continuing to fiddle- I think Matterson takes the lock position for the remainder of the season. He is going to be a gun either way, but does starting encourage him to offload less for his first stint?, he hasnt played the role much this season, does this affect his scoring enough that it doesnt justify the 65 point price tag when 50-55 just wont cut it? He is not a slam dunk.

    Ofa is also no certainty and he has a poor score in him when he doesnt get the huge minutes. If Twal was confirmed out for the season it would be more encouraging, but if a big minute sponge like that comes into the side and Ofa goes back to playing 60 minutes then he may not even be a keeper.

    So Matterson probably has the security of being a keeper no matter what, which is is a pretty big deal. The 100k is nothing to be dismissed though. I could burn worlds with that extra 100k. Its the difference between doing Aitken>Tedesco and not chasing Tedesco at all.

    Thanks mate.  Keen on your moves this week too.

    Yeah, Ofa has flown under the radar and I keep thinking maybe he's the flavour of the week but then you just have to look at his scores.  The bench certainly helps him too.

    Not too sure on Pap but I think he'll be heavily traded in so can't miss the big scores.  Could wait for Ted I guess.
