There’s extra WC post World Cup but nothing really else major

Thought the prices were very kind early on and then went to build team and still struggling a little

Prices look a little light for keepers and defenders with good value around 8 mil in MID. As always the premiums up top are a money sink

Salah, Diaz, Neto (Martinelli, 4.5)
Haaland, Toney (Undav)

Not many major decisions to make squad building wise

Which 4.5 keepers to choose, who fills the last defender spot at 4.5, 6-7 million mid and if Toney is worth the extra over Mitrovic

Thoughts have really changed at all since. I'll be running with atleast 3 gun defenders and will be giving Cancelo and Robertson a miss. Perisic might become a 4.5 purely for value but I think he will do well. Pretty set on not running any dead spots but might look to turn Toney+Martinelli into an upgrade

This came up quick....hot auto select first up and will have a look through the week

Be interested to see how Guardiola introduces Haaland and what set up he plays.....looking at Foden with Sterling off to Chelsea this season

Have been coming up to speed over the last week and tinkering with some drafts. Still lots of decisions to be made:

-Haaland vs Kane
-Third liverpool spot Robbo or Diaz
-How badly do I want Cancelo (hard to fit all the big name d in)
-Rashford likely minutes
-Martinelli likely minutes
-Will Ronaldo leave and make Martial a genuine option

These are probably my two draft options at the moment.

Was set on fairly template draft but thinking of going aggressive with 3-premium draft and missing Jesus for 1st 2 -  basically going on operation Target BOU and FUL (Saka, Jesus, Kulu switch in and out until WC

Currently team is on 3 premium with plan to get triple ARS attack v BOU

Salah/KDB/Martinelli/Bailey (Andreas)
Haaland (2x 4.5)

Plan to get Saka & Jesus for KDB and 4.5 FWD in GW3

As for your questions the only I can answer is IMO Cancelo is a must, underrated fact is bonus points potential (which is why I’m looking at KDB as was top for bonus)

Seems like a solid plan, key there is you'll still have a .5m difference for those GW3 swaps so price changes wont ruin the moves. Jesus is just so extremely highly owned and he could easily score 3 goals over the first two weeks so could fall behind the pack a little if KDB doesn't deliver, but of course the opposite is very possible too.

Seems like Cucurella wont be going to City which had me doubting Cancelo a little bit. Do really want to get him in now, will probably just go Robbo to Cancelo and Foden to Diaz.

One week to go

Finally just put in a team. It's very mid-range. See Camo's 3 attacking premiums above and I've got 1 lol. Not sure I'll bother tinkering further much.

I might give this FPL a crack this season

I think I've settle on my team - aiming for my best ever finish... 24th

But seriously, just want to improve on last season and crack the top 100k

Majority of my setup is locked in. Just back and forth on different formations which is 3 players depending what I go with.

From what I can see, thousands of player will have similar teams

Yeah I think everyone will have triple pool, city and Chelsea def and Kane or Haaland
