Grant seemed to cop something in a tackle close to the line.
You saw Yeo check he was OK to continue while he was on the ground.
Grant got up and played it but went off the field shortly after.

Can't dislike Yeo. Was chasing Hunt til the end when Cleary telegraphed that chip kick.
Big heart, good player and doesn't get involved in the crap.

Abso-fucking-lutely this. That was tone deaf and classless.

Three nasty concussions in less than 10 minutes probably isn't something to celebrate and show off quite as much as it has been...

Not really a good look for mine.

Didn’t get to watch - my in-laws took us to dinner, was rescheduled from us having COVID, and they aren’t footy fans. Can’t remember the last game I missed. Sounds like it’s worth watching later, even if the bad guys won. PS sack Fittler.

Terrible decision to bin Burton for being Gaigai's punching bag.

Burton, Gagai and Tino all fined.

I can’t see Burton backing up that cheekbone is very swollen hopefully no fracture! If it is a fracture I’ll trade him to Manu.

Burton shoved ponga then squared up to gagai - got in punch up he threw them - it’s fine- don’t play the victim

What a game- proper origin- QLD did what nsw did last time absolutely dominated that second stanza

So much to talk about - however just congratulate the 15 man maroons who did the business, impressive

So I guess Mahoney to Grant should probably wait a week. Might just hold Mam for another week as well instead of trading him for a cashout, could need him in the 17 if Burton or Angus are out.

    Good game.

I thought Cleary was Fucking dreadful. His kicking game was so ineffective.

Also. Outside backs always getting turned around by kicks.

Why did Burton only put up one bomb? After everyone frothed so hard last game?

Ponga and hunt were guns. Tedesco best on field.

    *I'm a NSW supporter*

I understand where you are coming from, but personally I would like to see origin framed as more like a war. It's lost it's feeling a bit over the last few years and I feel like last night it was again ignited.

I want to see more big hits, punches and banter - before the game, during the game and after the game.

It used to be that we had players to hate like Hodges or Gallen, who as a NSW supporter you knew was going to go out and try to hurt somebody. QLD knew it and targeted him in the media and in the game. Say what you want about Gallen, he was a great product for the game. That's evident in how he promotes his fights. We need more of this, villains and heroes.

Last night for me it was a true QLD win. They played their hearts out. DCE, Ponga, Grant and Hunt were frankly spectacular. NSW, tedesco all heart every time he gets on the field. Few terrible mistakes from us, but QLD defense forced us into bad positions.

One of the best games I've seen since Gallen bashed Nate Myles the pooper. I look forward to more origin battles like that in the future.

    Well done QLD.

Who was that? It was every call not going QLD he was being ridiculous. Obvious mile forward pass called back "That was flat"
