Rub that cunt out of commentary forever please.
*I'm a NSW supporter*
I understand where you are coming from, but personally I would like to see origin framed as more like a war. It's lost it's feeling a bit over the last few years and I feel like last night it was again ignited.
I want to see more big hits, punches and banter - before the game, during the game and after the game.
It used to be that we had players to hate like Hodges or Gallen, who as a NSW supporter you knew was going to go out and try to hurt somebody. QLD knew it and targeted him in the media and in the game. Say what you want about Gallen, he was a great product for the game. That's evident in how he promotes his fights. We need more of this, villains and heroes.
Last night for me it was a true QLD win. They played their hearts out. DCE, Ponga, Grant and Hunt were frankly spectacular. NSW, tedesco all heart every time he gets on the field. Few terrible mistakes from us, but QLD defense forced us into bad positions.
One of the best games I've seen since Gallen bashed Nate Myles the pooper. I look forward to more origin battles like that in the future.
Well done QLD.
