To be fair there's nothing stopping CHT having a renewed vigor for the game and signing with the Warriors again next year. Could happen?

Depending on your personal trade preferences any 'Walsh Out' moves can probs wait until final line up is announced....all of the Storm, Tigers and Souths play afterwards which should cover most of the WFB moves being planned.

I understand not investing any more time in Walsh if he's not going to be there next year, but dropping him for CHT, who also won't be there next year, just seems crazy.

Likewise dropping Volkman for Asi, who isn't signed for 2023.

Nofo has been good for me this year, when he's actually on the field which is around 50% of the time.

Maybe the coach just thinks this spine can win games. Aitken remaining in the second row shows he isn't dropping players just because they won't be there next year.

On Warriors team make up. Their current coach won't be there next year either, so not sure how motivated he is to name teams with 2023 in mind
