If you want to go crazy he's as good a bet as any.

I don't think Cleary is an auto captain. DCE, Hynes, Cook all in the conversation, plus whatever PODs people want

See I think a refreshed Cleary looking to bounce back after the Origin heartbreak is as close to an Auto-Captain as you cant get this season.
Think he will be going all out to prove himself this week and we could potentially see him ton up!

100% agree, this is the only thing stopping me putting D(C)E this week

The Lord of the Byes Rank improver results are now up (finally), with a familiar face stealing the headlines:

are people getting Douhli in because he is 1: a final 17 keeper,  2:  allows you to get another keeper or  3: chasing last rounds score, with this is only game this year at 6.

I see Latrell the same as Fifi, either king of castle or court jester for scoring, in saying that will still hid behind couch when he plays, prefer Teddy for $100k more

Got it down to 2 options

TU: Pappy to Fififta (5 + 4 trades left)
TD: Pappy Mam to Murray Booth (4+ 4 Trades left)

Mam is currently my 18 with Palasia Saab Trindall

    1 and 2 for me.

Had a 60+ average in the halves last year and backed it up first game back there last week.
Also allows me to get Fifita and Haas in to the team

I’d be staying away from Murray. He’s in Wade Graham territory at the moment when it comes to head knocks

What is the appeal of Haas other than price. Remove injured game and he has 6 game avg of 51pts. He's not had huge minute games since Carrigan returned from injury and why would he go back to them with injury management in mind

    At this point doing

    Barnett to Haas
    Pap to Doueihi
    Edrick to Ponga

    Leaves me with 2+4 trades

I have less trades that I would like since I have made 6 last 2 weeks, and I am not completely sold on Haas (health wise) and Doueihi but it leaves me with 200K in the bank.

Really hope Hastings becomes a keeper and Ofa starts scoring well again to save me some headaches.

Damn, it is going down to the wire in L1 to squeeze into the 8. I am just happy I am not last to be honest.

I didn't see the game but my interest in Ponga wained when I saw he was on 47pts after 44th minute try and finished on 50pts. Any idea why? Can't see lots of negatives

I had no idea Carrigan is only $21k more than Haas. Any reason he's not more popular pick?

Get haas or don't get Haas, I couldn't give a shit. I don't own him anymore as it is. But if you can't 'see the appeal' of others who are bringing in him.. do you have CTE?

Price is all that matters now for some.

Happy to take the punt he can get back to somewhere close to his best

    Cheers

Shame for the guy, felt like his best year yet and finally started to focus on his football.

His scores dropped off because his minutes dropped off. +68 minute games were pre Rd 8
