That's a solid score!TheWeapon wrote:Ah, Serves me right for laughing to myself about the Cleary situation, thinking my pairing of Moses and Reynolds is looking good. Ouch. A month for a broken finger?
On the plus side, 850 with 4 to play is the best round I’ve had for a while!
565 with 5 to play

I broke tibia which is non-weight bearing compared to fibula and Orth surgeon didn't want me to play football for at least 6 months

Similar to me - 604 with 4 to play: Barnett, Burton, King and Robson.

So 1 trade Tago in and he scores 40 next 2 weeks say. The 40 next week makes him about 15k and his BE moves to 40 so the following week he makes $0
He's too high priced to generate cash now. Either you want for final 17 or it's 2 trades wasted
Sorry I meant to get cash from Moses. It's be 100k ITB. Not sure though.

I have one trade left and just enough money (according to Butters site) to trade Cleary to DCE next week.
I was originally annoyed that I couldn't reverse my 3rd trade this week but that trade happened to be Moses to Haas so I would have had to use it anyway.
634 with 2 to play (Max King and Burton as captain), so unless Burton goes massive, I'm getting absolutely slaughtered this week even though I didn't captain Cleary - thanks to Ronnie and Latrell both underperforming and being forced to play either Booth or Palasia for 17th man thanks to Koula being an idiot

Reversed my RFM > Haas trade as soon as Cleary got sent off.
Leaves me with 2 trades, hopefully just enough money to do Cleary+RFM+$290K > Munster+Murray.
Will give me a final team of:
Cook
Yeo Tapine Murray
iPap Crichton
Munster DCE
Burton Bird
Mitchell Tedesco Hynes
Klemmer Robson MKing Mam
Mbye Volkman Matamua Rushton

Last couple of years I've been far too trigger-happy with trades, trying to get "perfect" rather than "good enough" options early in the season, and rank has suffered as a result.
And again... one trade left with Cleary and Moses to deal with. Will have to go Cleary to DCE and just hope Moses come back early if the Eels lose a couple and look in danger of missing the 8.
Now that you mention this I have just realised that the past two seasons I have been more devil may care with trades than at any point in the past and subsequently am on track for my two worst finishes since my very first season when I had no idea. It’s almost like there is some connection

NRL physio posted to say depending on type of fracture and other damage but typically 6-10 week recovery time

Small sample size, don’t read too much into it

Same 3 left for me WL - except I somehow managed to put the C on Hynes.White Lightning wrote:722/14 (c) Cleary - Robson, Burton & Barnett to play
749/14.
Be lucky to get anywhere near 900 this round.
#carnage
Edit: on a potential trades note, with Cleary & Moses out, I can do Cook & Doueihi in.
Sounds like a plan. Lock it in Eddie.
Will leave me with 1 trade left and a team of:
Cook
Haas / I.Pap / Harris
Angus & Koala
DCE / Doueihi
Burton & Avo
Teddy / Hynes / To'o
Latrell / Grant / Robson / Elliott
Mam / Koula / Palasia / Hoskings
It's still light in the centres, but of all positions, this is the one that I'm least concerned about. If it's a warm body who will play each week, the points are a bonus.
FOMO on Murray and Tapine, but them's the breaks.

Barnett still 12, Jones still at 13.
Still doesn't mean they line up like that unfortunately.

Just looking on MTB's site, and filtering for DBrown without Moses, he averages much higher at 65.8 (small sample size of only 5 across 2021 and 2020)
KM up to 282KM average compared to 71KM average with Moses so could be good option to end season at pretty cheap price ~620k
