Depends on the player - if it's DCE you're considering, he'll only being doing more work each week.Khany wrote:Any concerns about having manly players with recent developments?
If it's Olakau'tua, perhaps?

This is my last trade, would play Hynes at HLF if I were to get Manu.
Already got Munster btw
Honestly why would you pick Manu over DCE, shouldn't even be a close decision
A CTR averaging 45 at CTR vs a gun HLF averaging 61 for 20k more

Because of the aforementioned issues with Manly. I was like 70% sure DCE is the better pick but just wanted a sanity check

DCE is talented, determined & mentally very strong he'll up his game if needed so I don't really think it matters to him re any issues he has to deal with because he believes he can overcome anything,

Cleary & Moses ---> DCE and Papali'i
1 trade left, holding on for dear life with a depthless squad
Mahoney
Haas, McInnes, Papali'i
Harris, Crichton
DCE, Burton
Aitken, Talakai
Hynes (c), Doueihi, Mitchell
Robson, King, Barnett, Mam
Volkman, Koula, Kennedy, Matamua

Think I've got my first 2 trades locked in with Cleary and Hastings to DFifita and DBrown
Trading out Ponga leaves me with 650k to spend on 17th man
Think I'll be spending all week deciding but shortlist below for now
Arrow (47 average 45 last 3)
SOS (52 average 54 last 3)
Carrigan pending judiciary (49 average 35 last 3)
Mahoney (48 average 50 last 3)
Josh Jackson (46 average 42 last 3)
SWalker (41 average 56 last 3)
BHunt (45 average 37 last 3)
Curran (46 average 33 last 3)
Verrills (41 average 49 last 3)
Arrow, Mahoney, Jackson, BHunt super solid job security but all a bit meh as scorers
Carrigan if he escapes suspension seems the best option
SWalker, Curran and Verrills could all average 50+ with the right role but could change week to week
I don't buy the theory that Panthers will fall off a cliff without Cleary and Luai but O'Sullivan feels very risky as budget Cleary
Would love a bit more cash to just lock in Koroisau who I'm predicting has a big run home

I can move Doueihi or Hynes to half and have Kennedy as WFB cover so I don't have to trade in a half for Cleary necessarily.
So the question is who is the best trade in under 840k regardless of position?
Short list looking like Munster, Haas, Reynolds, Brown, Matterson, Ofa

finished on 857 a shout out to Tapine & Doueihi who did their best to compensate for Cleary (c). Lost 24 ranking spots to 1,542OR. I have 3 trades left & 93k bank so my first trade will be Cleary to DCE.

Angus has been so disappointing. I hate trading out a healthy former gun but i have spare change to flog him to Murray. Thoughts?

He hasn't been the Angus of old for sure and he has had a couple of 30 something scores lately but season average at 2nd row is 51. Luxury trade I'd say and you'd have to have plenty of trades left

This lasted for approximately 20 minutes before I locked in DCE, Teddy and Madden. Loop Penisini/Madden/Walsh through spot 17 until Keppie returns

I traded him 2 rounds ago when he was injured. Regret it. Gives me the centre coverage needed also. His involvement last week scared the shit out of me.
Hmm...can get Murray instead and sacrifice coverage.

Cleary to Cook locked in as I need hooker cover.
Now need to toss up Moses to Murray/Tapine/Haas
Wpuld anyone take a slightly lower average from Haas to give me some flexibility for my last trade? Would leave me ~200k ITB vs 80-100k from a Murray/Tapine trade in.
Tapine been averaging around 65 in games over 50 minutes. Is that being too selective?
