"might be possible minor contact at the end of the tackle with Nelson’s forearm to possibly the neck and chin area." - MRC

Do they honestly not watch the same footage as the rest of us?

FFS that would be the worst of all these proposed late season transfers.

I just cannot understand how the NRL thinks it is a good idea to let the good teams raid the weak teams for short  term deals in an attempt to win a comp.
Why bother even having Tigers/Knight/Titans/Warriors play the last few weeks.

Just have a min-draft for top 8 teams for their players do guys like Fifita, Klemmer, SJ can help make the finals better quality games, and maybe win a comp too

Dunno what SJ is doing in that sentence.

I wouldn't mind these moves, if the teams shipping out players gained something of value.

It's like the trade deadline in American sports, it's a big exciting event. But over there, the shit teams are flicking their good players coming off contract in exchange for draft picks or good prospects for the future while the good teams go for a championship.

Here all the shit teams seem to gain is shed a bit of money. I guess they think it makes sense for them, if you can save money on Klemmer and you don't need him then sure. Still feels shit from a fan standpoint though.

Maybe Trindall could pick up a short term job at the Eels or the Panthers?? It'd be a perfect fit cheer

Be surprised the Sharks would release him.

    How about Paul Turner, Volkman

Matamua could fill in for the Sharks at fullback, surely.

week;y update in my team tracker

919 points to go into the top 200

however no trades remaining and suffering under the cleary, moses, elliot trifecta of horror,

this will probably be my zenith and expect to lose lots of ranks in the coming weeks!

enjoy the read and feel free to admonish me in the comments

I understand the loan system when your team is decimated by injuries. However, it should not be exploited by the likes of Storm asking for top players. It should be ONLY for fringe players. It is also a joke that the eels attempted to get Klemmer when they barely had injuries to their pack
