People looping the likes of Angus and Hughes, while my loop is Walters 20 or the hope that RFM plays

This is clearly the best option here.

You're either taking that option or a coward.

Sometimes you need to take these risks to win the comp too.

Haha, surprised I'm still considered relevant! Absolutely a Hail Mary play, in fact that's exactly how I described it last night in our draft whatsapp group. But I have it on good authority from Beth that the Storm are shit now. Just need Fifita to be less shit haha! Good luck with Hynes mate!
Our back 5 is mostly garbage aside from Munster moving back there, but Munster playing both sides is a scary proposition, and if anything he should have been doing that since the moment Papy went down. The way we attack, the fullback is the one sweeping on both sides with the halves taking a side each.
If we are to make it deep into the finals, Munster has to have the ball in his hands as much as he possibly can, and the best way to do that is to either fully move him to FB (and play Meaney at 6) or change the attacking structure such that Meaney stays on one side and Munster plays both.
That said, Munster playing both sides won't stop our edge defence from sucking, so I don't mind the Fifita captaincy.

Are any of
Grant
Yeo
Robson
Koro
better?
Already have DCE, Cook Murray, Ipap, Fififata, Tohu, Burton, Hynes, latrell
Robson imo.
When playing 70+ minutes this year (which he has every week since round 8 ) he's averaging 58 with only one score below 50.
If I had to rank them I'd go: Robson, Munster, Grant, Yeo, Koro

Solid post Beth. You may have convinced me to pull the trigger and get him.

I would do the same except for the fact that I've owned him all year.
Kind of sucks that people are buying him now, he was my POD all year

Im hoping RFM doesn't play. Used him as a loop with Butcher in 18. Should never be on the piss while working out how to loop sigh.

I reckon it's very unlikely. 95% sure he's getting cut 24 hours out.

Yeah Robson is certainly interesting
I could also then have the cash to go Mahoney to Grant. I know Mahoney went 61 last week but that was with 2 tries
TU: Cleary to Munster (3 Trades left)
TD: Cleary Mahoney to Robson Grant (2 Trades left)

Thanks I really hadn’t thought of that as I’m not Savy in the dark arts and really something I should delve into more to see what options are open to me.rhinoceroo wrote:
Looking at your (ridiculously strong) squad you do have the option of seeing if Hughes scores big and if he doesn't then trading Cleary to DBrown or Koroisau, but that is a pretty one-week lens if you think Munster is the better scorer of the three over the next month.

That's a tricky one, there's a fair argument for both. Personally I like the second one, but there's an argument to not trade a green dot like Mahoney too.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2022 Part 69 - for Toast
Klemmer update:
SMH reports that Klemmer was stood down because someone made a formal complaint to HR, and so the standard office-type practices kicked in and because it's official policy everyone's hands were tied.
Apparently might be back at training today, as everyone works out how to separate normal work from sport work in a legal way I guess.
If it was the trainer that formally complained - and who else can it be, really? - it was Hayden Knowles, and apparently they have beef from the NSW Origin days AKA why Klemmer hasn't been picked since 2019. But this would be a fairly new level of petty IMO.

I have
Cook v Garrick
Murray v Mciines
Fififita v Lolo
Tago v Bird
Mahoney v Grant
Cleary Trade in v Cleary Trade in
Elliot v 66
Captain Cook v Captain DCE
I suspect he will likely trade in Cook or Murray to neutralise me. Which would mean its then Garrick/Mciines vs Robson/Munster
Mahoney to Grant would then neutralise that match up

As it stands I reckon you're the favourite, so yeah I'd go the Robson/Grant option neutralise the matchup, assuming H2H is your primary concern?
