Moses was similar - but it was a week earlier, a bit more optimistically phrased, and he can go boom

    Barnett is just a guy

Can’t really afford anyone good tho  - might be get Ben Hunt and hope he pushes on for the Dally M. A cheeky 100 against a coach-less Raiders would be a nice start

Any other noms for best fantasy player under 634k?

    Have Douiehi, Butcher and Friz

    Aitken, Kikau, Wighton, Curran?

my tv broke wrote:"The Rugby League Players Association is already lobbying for NSW and Queensland players to be automatically stood down from club duties after Origin matches following one of the fastest - and most brutal - Origin matches ever played in the recent series decider."

    Reasonably big implications for fantasy.

I understand that its a hard market but the comp kind of sucks when its so long and drawn out and players arent available for a whole bunch of games because they're cramming origin into wednesdays again. I realise everyone will still play 24 games, but origin players could miss 4 club games over the origin period ?

    Rep round also scrapped. Boooo
All this means is that Kiwi, Tongan, Samoan, English players etc. become worth more on the Fantasy market.
How many points differential does Cleary lose if he sits out 6+ games over SOO?
Then, playing for overall, what is a Hughes (or non-Origin half) worth?
Perhaps Mattnz's patented POD sub-gun strategy may actually work with the player availability rules in play.

I took some time off to deal with some IRL stuff and gave up on Fantasy since around round 6 or 7.. I finally jumped back on the last 2 weeks and wanted to see if I can somewhat put together a decent team for the run home and thought I'd pop in and say hi as well as seeing if anyone had any suggestions?

I've missed a lot of ground but it's all for a bit of fun to try and finish off the season.. so

    This is my current team:

    Cook
    Murray | Haas | Ipap
    Harris | Tago
    Doueihi | Hynes
    Aiken | Penisini
    S crichton | Teddy | Koula

    Talakai | M King | Ilias | Mbye
    Suluka-Fifi | Moale | Naden | Thompson

    19 trades - $35K ITB.

Bit stuck on what to do next... want outs are Talakai, Koula..?
    19 trades left.
    Holy crap.
Max trade my friend, max trade.
You may as well put Harris, Tago, Mad-Max, Talakai, Ilias, Koula up and pick up Grant (back-up hooker), run the gauntlet on Cotter, DCE (shift Hynes back to WFB), Bruton etc.

Stuart will be unable to return to coaching duties until 4pm on Tuesday, 16 August.

I think Ricky Stuart verbally telling one of his assistants what team to name is something that's pretty impossible to monitor, unless the NRL can tap phones or use 24-hour surveillance.

Just noticed that the guy chasing “I love the Amateurs” in 2nd place has changed his name to “I love the Amateurs more”. A fierce rivalry is heating up!

I have 17 green dots with my 17th man as Mbye. Moses, Kennedy, Booth and Matamua all red dots. I have 1 trade and 54k spare and I’m gonna hold the trade.

Aitken looks good again I have got him, now back at second row is much better for his scoring I think he goes well against the Dogs this week.

Curran also could be a good option.

I’d have Aitken and Curran above both Wighton and Kikau mate.

Hunt may well average 35 for the rest of the season but of all those mentioned at that price range he's the only one you could see pulling a couple of consecutive 90s out of nowhere, so I'd probably go for him.

Thought he might be a bargain for next year, but nope. Actually has a better fantasy average than Mahoney this season (filtered by starting hooker, 30+ mins)

Sorry been a bit MIA, still holding on to my butt, but losing Hughes and Barnett with no trades left now has hurt a bit, playing Trindall and Mam in my 17 going to lose me even more positions than already dropped sadly.

On a different note, anyone jumping on the Bundy Mixer game?? Interesting concept to combine players from each comp. Gonna give it a go as something different.

It’s just shit so so unlucky. Treatment includes a big surgery and a very high grade of chemo which Nanna won’t be up for. So sad it’s a poor prognosis.

My Aunty is cracking up badly too she’s not coping she feels very sick and nauseous too and dizzy too much to deal with

Both would be an upgrade on a washed Macca or makeshift Mbye/Sullivan.

Really sucks that Robson left because he was behind McInnes, only for McInnes to move to lock the next season, and then leave the club the season after. Top management there.
