I'm also out of trades with two red dots (Booth and Vailea), I can still field 17 for now but I can't see that holding for very long. I'm somehow in the finals for L4 despite getting absolutely destroyed for the better part of three months now, so I guess I'm the fantasy equivalent of the Dragons when they were April Premiers every year.

992 and lost another 100 ranks, now down to 5.2k from a peak of 1.5k in round 12. I never really recovered from that first bye, which isn't entirely unexpected.

1118 gets me the doordash prize 2 weeks out of the last 3 and sees me up around 100 spots into 292nd, might not be enough time left to hit a double figure rank but I’m heading in the right direction, have somehow avoided the carnage in the last couple weeks save for Captain Cleary, still have 21 heathy green dots but 1 trade so I’ll be hoping karma isn’t waiting at the final corner for me.

Unlucky mate. Thanks for sticking around and posting though, I know the pain of a low score in a sea of big ones. Takes guts to post em. Love the upside outlook!code delta wrote:A post for those of you that aren't scoring as well as people posting their impressive scores.
My score this week is 826. Moves my rank from 17322 to 19290.
This is my worst fantasy year ever. Every move I've made has not worked. The only upside is that I will be competitive in L11 next year.

1006 sees me fall from 390 to 564. Left a fair few points on the table captaining Cook over Hynes, and not bringing in Murray for Moses but hopefully Moses makes a quick recovery and that extra trade comes in handy.

Right there with you CD. 839 this week and the same sentiment. I had the choice of Murray or Tapine last week, I zagged and chose Tapine....
Lets go team 11!!!

I was annoyed earlier in the week I was $1k short of Tapine. Grabbed Murray instead. You can do your best to make good decisions but sometimes it’s just luck. Hopefully Taps is only out for a short stint.
I got 1096, rank 402. Have Hughes but probably not worth selling him. Not much use for a loop. though.

Feel like I’m the elephant in the tree in L1. Sitting in 4th, not sure how I got up there.

Reading some more on the Klemmer saga from various outlets......Knowles & AOB come across like real Ricky Gervais type characters.....'Look at me I'm a leader'
I've also been reading a little bit about that 'Leadership Camp' the Adelaide Crows AFL team went on about five years ago. There seems to be a real issue with some Aus sports teams where they buy into this whole hyper aggressive 'Warrior' culture message and engage with pseudo psychology programs developed by fucknuckles angry about the fact they can't get a root, no one recognises how hard they are and there isn't a war on they can get involved in.
It's no real surprise that these teams seem to be some of the least successful.

What was the carnage for this round? Have been out of action for the weekend.

Tapine, Hughes, and Booth the only fantasy relevant-ish concerns from memory.
I find these articles to be a fairly good quick summary of any injury/suspension carnage: https://www.nrl.com/news/2022/08/07/nrl-wrap-up-round-21/

Hughes injury mean I’m playing Walters this week
Last trade could do Moses to DBrown but feels like something I should have done last week

Don't particularly want to play Koula again, although it is the titans

I would happily play Koula v the Titans it's a good match up

Have 2 trades left with a 13k rank, would be happy to offload them to someone in a top position.

2 trades left & Tapine to deal with but after the game he was on the field laughing & smiling talking to players so hopefully he's like RFM & only misses the 1 game. The Broncos play the Knights (h) this week so I could just play Mam for Tapine.
Also I posted yesterday since I got Doueihi over Latrell in round 19 that trade-in was a fail. Well it was when he was on single figures at h/t when I posted that but he ended up scoring 58 so my fail comment was a bit premature because over the 3 rounds he trails Latrell by only 6 points (Latrell 168 pts, Doueihi 162 pts)

The way Koula got shown up in defence v the eels, he may not be selected.Khany wrote:Don't particularly want to play Koula again, although it is the titans
They mentioned that Brad Parker could be back this week.
