Dunno if this is choking, as such. Penrith are an outstanding side, been much better than Souths all season.

You can wonder if the result would have been much different if it was 13-6 at half time instead of 12-all. Might not have made much difference in the end, but couldn't have hurt Souths

Yep. Going wide with ten seconds of the half left was a big play. Would still have backed Penrith but stranger things have happened.

Souths were always going for the try rather than the field goal, that’s the way they play. Works for them most of the time but Panthers are relentless ‘process’ machine.

Was it Rabs who had the irrational Edwards hate? (not unlike Lukaye and Starling) ‘should be nowhere near first grade etc etc’ ‘here’s my golf card where I shot 54 etc etc’

Whilst it stings a lot to lose in the prelim I have to put it into perspective.

I’m still very proud of the whole club we had a fantastic season. It was always gonna be a very tough ask tonight The boys did their best.

We lost Wayne Bennett, Reyno, Gagai and we still made a prelim gotta be happy with that.

Unfortunately I think Penrith are going back to back but I’ll be hoping Parra can do it next week.

Cameron Murray what a player he couldn’t even walk at the end 53 tackles 21 for 160 metres he just doesn’t stop I’m so proud he’s our Captain he leads with his actions.

Penrith too good tonight they thoroughly deserved to win. We needed 12-0 at half time to have a chance.

Yep, pretty much mate. We certainly needed that 12-0 at half time. It was lost the last 5 minutes of the first half.

I know I am in the minority here but I think Moses to Papalii was line ball rather than forward

It went back out of his hands... but he was facing the wrong direction. I'll take it though

I guess if you draw the line on the angle to begin with…

Having said that, I don’t think it was that bad a miss as the media made out. The ball was thrown from a very unusual position and the touchie had the view from the opposite of the camera. Could’ve been obstructed. There are passes that forward let go every week.

It does show the nonsense of not being allowed to adjudicate by video on forward passes.

Meanwhile let’s look at the 1000th replay to see whether the pinkie finger touched the ball in the contest for a bomb before the bat back into the chest back into the arm. Then let’s move forward to whether the ball touched a blade of grass painted white before 7 arms and 3 legs dived into the pile to hold it up and his boot stud hit the sideline

Had to find a replay to see what all the fuss was about. Tbh i think it looked worse than it was. It was forward imo but not worth the hoo haa. Carry on
