NRLFF 2023 Fantasy DRAFT League

We have run a sportsdeck draft for the last 10 years or so.

I have let it die this year because what made it great has slowly disappeared over the last few years with the serious banter that used to come with it.

Last year's league barely got a post so meh.

Not being able to switch player positions within your team during the draft is a joke

My team is looking quite weak compared to others. I do have people trumped over position cover so if injuries , suspensions and the byes hit which they will Could rack up some wins.

I'm waiting on draft to finish so we can start posting sides and having some debate

I'm really happy with my draft....when the team is at full strength, won't be able to get a full side out first 2 rounds, but playing the long game

Draft is finalised

We should be done in the next 12 hours - just waiting on some tech issues for B/L so we had to wait a full 12 hours. It'll get rolling again soon.

Some highlights of my draft so far have been drafting Seve and Havili, both of whom are out for very long periods of time.

L3 is into the last round, a full 11 days quicker than last year.....

L2 finished this morning. Just over 3 days - excellent effort

A huge thank you to everyone that has participated in this year's draft.

It takes a diligent effort by all participants to make a 12 hour time limit draft enjoyable and challenging.
So, for all three leagues to have completed the draft so quick is nothing short of outstanding.

Yeah, congrats to Beth too.

How painful that it was a single point in it. I seemed to have a really good season, probably not having one of the better squads, but running into luck with a lot of random weekly selections, covering missing players.

Oh well, good luck to those left, and maybe next year, ay.
