Holmes and Hammer are my starting two with Talau on the bench, if Alamoti starts then I'll bring him in as well.

Val and Jaxson Paulo at the moment. Not 100% sold on it though. Thinking Paulo on a roosters edge gets some good ball, some tries... but like I said, not sold on it yet

I don’t have a team yet so all pending TLT, also fuck ctr as a position so I will always go cheap. But here’s my interest list:

HTF- good enough to post a couple of ceiling scores and make cash. Very good real life fullback imo, not sure how many fantasy points that is worth but it should be more.
Thompson- will start wing for Souths at minimum round 1 but should hold the spot. Loves a meat pie and 150 metres.
Talau- should start + DPP, easy 21st man
Bulldogs guys- Alamoti/Skelton/Averillo- see who has value, but honestly none of them really thrill me
VTW- won’t start but would be nice if he did

The only real “cut price guns” at ctr are Bird, who is a risk of playing every position 1-17 simultaneously and Staggs who is either Meninga 2.0 or simply watches the game instead of, you know, running the ball and making tackles, so both are a no from me.

Suaalii continues to interest me and that’s a feeling I can’t shake. Might start him at wfb if I don’t go Turbo. He’s just too good at footy to be worth 498k

Manly has the bye in rd2 right? Makes it very convenient to have a look at Turbo so no real stress to start with him.

thank you, i am loather to spend big on centre, it annoys me as a position

also thanks to the others that commented

I'm keen on alamoti if he is the starter which remains ti be seen,
HTF again if he is a FB i will probably pluck for,
don't have budget without changing my team alot to go for an established keeper unfortunatley

Hey mate Thompson is one of my centres and Talau in emg’s.

I did have Reimis Smith but he’s now unlikely for round 1. On HTF the fact I don’t see the Dolphins going too well concerns me he’s priced at 26 I’m not sure he can avg more than about 30ish.

I don’t like to spend on centre so I’m hoping for someone like an Alamoti.

If I do spend up Suaali is one that interests me. I’ll watch him in trials.

Mate if you had to pick one of CNK or TMM who are you picking?

Is anyone worried about Miller only having 4 weeks til round 1 in the Knights system? That is concerning me a bit.

Based on pure guess work I’d go CNK, are we sure TMM starts ahead of metcalf?

Is Liddle likely to play 80? If not, who would the utility be?

Everything from the coach and the Warriors so far suggests yes.

Don't mind this thinking at all. Currently looking at Staggs alongside Thompson... Broncos late bye and can just lock him in and ride the ups and downs and hopefully save trading too much on centres. But if I do need more cash for the rest of the team will consider Paulo. Bit of a concern that the Roosters have so many weapons that points could get shared, but didn't stop the Panthers wingers getting big scores last year.

    Haha.

I just don't see many of the centres being great cows and I really don't want a winger there. I don't expect any improvement from Penisini, I just like his bye draw, he plays for a good team and as an up-and-comer, I think there is a chance of improvement.

Last night I was looking at a back five of Staggs, Penisini, Walsh, HTF and TMM. Three 'stable' players with no early byes and some possibility of gun scores from Walsh and Staggs. And 2 reasonable cheapies, both DPP and both playing the RD 13 Bye.

but.. its trbo.. he can go big on any given day. why would you bring him in after 1 good score if you weren't prepared to start with him
