I know a lot are picking stone but I’m more keen on Ese’ese
easy e has definitely shown good trial form seems to be back running hard which is his strength because he's so hard to contain

Max King the exception has really suckered people into bench forwards eh
Theyre almost always not worth it

That team just makes me want to pivot to a short-term play on Sam Walker if EButcher is benched.

Fantasy Fantasy reminder
Leagues seem to be only 13 powder sniffers away from completion, so it should be safe to make your selections now
For those of you who are intending to enter, the details can be found here

Whats the story, boring Doorey?
I dont actually know who he is. Obviously i can see his stats are.. underwhelming. Can i get a real life player comparison for mental imaging purposes ? (I have a name in mind, lets see if someone suggests it)

Well, that means Matt is actually tied first then! Why wouldn't you have a brag?

It takes the early rounds for teams to get matchfit and team rhythm, especially teams who've had numerous changes, results can be very up and down in the early rounds.rhinoceroo wrote:Just on Carty/Doorey, Eels first five is Storm, Sharks, Sea Eagles, Panthers, Roosters. There's a world where there don't win any of them, and Jack Murchie is still on the roster (plus Matto back R4, Lane soon after).
Also, with those fixtures would maybe incline to the tacklebot rather than the flair attacker.

I just clicked on that it's Matt Doorey from the Dogs......jeez, he's trash. I think I remember him getting a lot of head knocks too. Couldn't crack a starting role at the Dogs, so expectations should be low.

Surely Gosiewski can average 60 mins and 50 points off the bench
Wouldn't surprise me if he get's 50min with Hess moving to mid. But he'll avg about 20 points in that role.

Well, I picked the wrong weekend to go away and not log in to the Forum. Friday morning and we're on Part 4, page 20 something, Monday evening and its Part 5, Page 29.
You lot really go hard in the final few days before the NRL starts up.
I'm running a Fantasy comp, 8 places left.
Code is: 7C9ND6XU if anyone is keen to join.
Can someone give me a brief update on any Fantasy relevant players named, discussed over the past couple of days. I don't really have a spare couple of hours to catch-up on every page.
Cheers,
The Bludger

Kenny if you think he'll get the minutes, Sonny Luke is lurking.
Hynes injury is very recent ownership won't have caught up yet.
Will Kenny get 60-65 mins? Seems value there if he does

Look if this was 1988 with a leather ball, 5m between teams, Tues/Thurs training, and forwards the size of modern halves, Carty is probably vying with Gavin Miller for the Dally M. But it’s not and be isn’t. Just cos he’s about to Bradbury his way into the Eels pack, the party isn’t starting again IMO
