Now back to Garner vs Butcher......

I'm also busting to swap Uto out for Keppie

I've decided to start thinking about whether Welch, as sole captain, pushes his mins up to 60+ ish and scores 50s regularly

Who are we really hot on that has low ownership, and who is in lots of teams that we are cold on?

AKP 32% pretty sure we are much lower ownership here
    HTF 29% much lower here
Teddy 26% expect we are lower ownership here - Dolphins and Warriors first up, could come back to bite us.
Stone 26% - surprised so high still
Boyd at 21% is probably the first that we would have much higher ownership of here, other than Hopgood and Smith who everyone has.

E Butcher 4% - Are we wrong on him as higher owned here
Trindall 3% - We would be higher here
Douehi 7% - In many more teams here
    HSS 6%
    Carty 9%

Matt always coming off all cold and free thinking, yet slots WE in about 17 times here

Read whatever you want into the coach's comments about the four backrowers named in the 17.

He also expects Doorey to become an 80 minute player for them, but not necessarily in round one.

I guess as a coach you'd like to see all your edge players being capable of playing 80mins if required

One of those $600k guys is probs going to elevate and it might just be him

That would mean losing Captain Pat for me (or maybe Haas) but on the brightside Miller could become teddy or Latrell

Is having Grant and Haas overkill....hmmmmm

I reckon another preseason behind him, passes the in a good attacking team test and has a pretty well rounded game.
He is someone I am seriously looking at to free up some cash downgrading Doueihi to.
He could also just be another Foran who does good things but does not score well in Fantasy.
Not sure I have resolved anything here, but thanks for reading.

I like the innovation! But with Sharks, Panthers, Roosters as first 3 I am going to watch and wait. If he pulls DCE's pants down in R4 then I'm on board.

Carty has barely trained and will start, Jirah will come on and play some back row. Murchie also there who might probably play some middle and some backrow, see how it goes.

See above for specific re Doorey
    I’m taking Doorey.

Think I’m settled on the important parts of my team, any changes I make from here are likely to just be shuffling chairs around in the basement:

    Cheese
    Haas Carrigan Hopgood
    Butcher Garner
    (C)leary Doueihi
    HSS Alamoti
    Turbo Miller TMM

    Boyd Kenny Katoa Loeiro

    Doorey Keppie Warbrick Katoa

With $59k to try to clean up the mess I’ve made in R2

Anyone out there seeing value in Hastings $645k? His first 6 games are against

    WARRIORS
    TIGERS
    DOLPHINS
    RAIDERS
    MANLY
    WARRIORS

Pretty sure he's been confirmed to be GK to start the year.
Likely to be the main kicker in the team.

Spose he could be an overpriced Boyd.

I keep settling on a team but keep feeling my bench is so bleh! Without looking at my 13 would you see this bench and think it hits a bit short.

Did anyone lose sleep over not having Townsend any season? Don't remember him exploding in price after a few games and don't see it happening to Ilias either

Keppie with a RD2 bye could be a wait n see.
    Hynes still TBC re injury.
I Katoa is playing for Dolphins who may get regularly smashed and maybe even Milf comes back??.

I started with Welch last year with high hopes, I want to go back but already have Ponga. If they both fail i don’t know what I’d do.

Pretty keen to see it though

he was mid 400's in 2021 partnered with Moylan which in hindsight feels like a no brainer. started the year with 59, 53, 42, 76, 69, 60
