Always keep in mind Jurbo gets 80, no other Manly MID has ever had a huge role next to him that I can recall.

Cant see that changing for Jurbo under the new coach, who played Carrigan and Haas for 80 most weeks.

Are we sure he plays 80

I’m going cold on BMM but I want those Carty points. Sloan a better option?

As I suspected’Manly man doing manly things’ Josh Aloiai into the starting line up….looks like those dogs benchies can wait a week unless there’s a new ‘60 min bench edge forward’ role

Any specific reason Talau didn't play at all last year?

    Hahaha.

I obviously wanted Carrigan all pre season but he had become the victim of trying to squeeze a few others in. Last minute realised Ive got to get the big fella back in there.

18/90 at royal pines yesterday. Not too bad. Greens were super hard.

Palm Meadows later today.  About to have a gin i think

Started playing again late last year after quitting 5 years ago.

Was just starting to sneak back into double figures and then I threw my back out 3 shots in on the range Sunday morning. But there's always a silver lining-my Doc gave me a Fiddy pack of Codiene Very Happy

I'm now toying with both Talau and Thompson out for Trindall and Sloan and get Warbricks points.

Looks like lots of knees being jerked based on yesterday's results/fantasy scores.

Just remember with the middies those results can reverse quite easily next week also I know conventional wisdom says don't ditch a gun on the back of one low score but last year going with that fucked my season (hung on to Angus and Mahoney too long and fell behind) so I reckon you given them a couple of runs, have a look at the games and try analyse whether it's bad luck or something has changed which limits their potential and jump off quick if that's the case.

Yeah, I'm not cause that leaves me with no centre cover so scrap that.

Hmm, that news might’ve saved me from myself, had decided to run Keppie, not sure where to pivot to though, only Trindall, Perham and Talau in that price range I have any interest in and I’m far from sold on any of them

Edit: I suppose I could drop the extra 100k on Uto but that kills the piggy bank for next week

    On the knee jerking theme..

Crazy to be considering tapine to stefano to allow me to turn one of my dud centres into bird next week now we know he’s playing lock? I’ve got massive cold feet on my spud centres. They always destroy me every year so I’ve got PTSD and have a stacked mid line

BCT05 wrote:Coming back to Tohu, I know changing guns around based on 1 week can backfire spectacularly but in this case it wasn't like Tohu scored a try or scored a bunch of points in a way that isn't sustainable. Of course 70 is his upper end so he had a good week but the role + minutes point to him probably being a safe 55 avg.

I am considering changing Fifita to Butcher to free up some funds for him. I hate not having Butcher as it is. Rolling lockout provides an opportunity here and it could be harder to balance the squad once limited to 2 trades a week and likely fires to put out.

Not sure if I will do it but just saying, it's not like we're talking about a WFB that scored a brace and had a boom game (which people have often overacted to in the past)

Who gets the chop for Tohu next week?
