Would be awesome to jump into the top 5000 this week but with some huge scores from popular players it might take more time.
As long as the injuries stay away then it gives me more options to finish my team ready for the upcoming bye weeks Smile

    Round 6 Results

Great result in the end for the Bourbon Brothers, Captain Cam went huge which helped me jump up the rankings a bit and now sitting at 4063
Holding Merrin and Whitehead proved to be a good move as they both put out decent scores but Merrin will have to go eventually due to origin.

Surgess isn't scoring quite to his potential being wasted in the front row but should come good now back in his normal position. A keeper regardless.
Fensom went off injured and looks to escaped a possible suspension but should hopefully good for this week.
Woods time in my team looks to be over by getting a 4-6 week injury, so with origin coming up will be a definite trade.

For a bit of fun have decided to get some ideas on who to bring in for Aaron Woods this week.
Bonus goes to players with byes, though under priced players help with further upgrades I plan on doing. Ie Walker to Hunt/Johnson etc
Also POD or low player ownership helps some with chasing the pack, but like Pokemon you can't catch them all

Anyways have set up a poll, appreciate peoples feedback Smile

Thanks mate, have looked at him and originally had him in my team at very start of year, but traded him out between games in round 1.
Worried he turns into another BLaw or pumps out mid 30's which he is priced at.
Also with me burning through trades due to injury, if I bring in a 'keeper' with good byes it may save me a trade later.

Will do some more research on him though Smile

Deadset killing it mate. I've tentatively done Woods to Graham. Plays Rd 12 but yeah, misses 15 and 18.

    Round 7 Trades

    Jack De Belin
A lot has already been mentioned about him.
Great byes, base stats and plays in the middle. Reasonable price so good time to bring in and need a replacement for Woods.

    Tim Grant
Low BE, should hopefully get some of Aaron Woods minutes with his injury and has good byes.

Thanks again for people who took the time to click on the Poll..
Unfortunately I can't seem to close it but Jack De Belin was the winner though Bromwich is making a late play after closing.

I had a look but can't see how to do it. @Random might have an idea. What if you tried deleting the post that you added the poll with? Just a suggestion and clutching at straws really. I assume you'd like to be able to add another one later?

All fixed mate, for future reference if you edit the post you can then click "Edit the poll" and there is a check box to delete the poll and then click send. It will prompt you asking if you want to delete it and you can. If this doesn't work for you then SI or myself can remove polls when you need them to be removed.

No worries, cheers for fixing it. Nothing like a good Polling to fire up the week... De Belin, you better score well cos communism has selected you this week

I had no options with this poll when I went in before; but tried it on another post (the How Many Points Will Parra Lose poll) just before and it was how you explained, and also gave me a delete option at the right of the poll itself straight away. Not sure if it's because it's a different poll or maybe a different device-will see if I get the same options at work again tomorrow as opposed to my lappy tonight.

    Nope no major worries.
He has have suffered a couple minor injuries recently so hasn't played as much but will be fine.
He still has his rotation he does with Graham which there is no reason to think it has changed

Also if Klemmer and Jackson get selected for origin then he might even get extra.

Anyways 45+ points a game and I am happy, he should hopefully be pretty consistent

    Updated Trade

With news of Parcells injury being possibly a couple more weeks, have swapped tolman for Grant to generate another 100k cash for trades. Tolman's BE is fine so can look at him next week and see how he plays this weekend

    Round 7 Results

Well bit of a roller coaster week, started with both Parcell and Lawrence pulling out injured and RTS pulling an ACL early and out for the season.
As you can see by my history, just another day being a Bourbon Brother.

Was a close H2H game with the Fingerpuppet mafia, but came down to the difference of Captains in the end. Was close

Somehow I have managed to pump out my highest score so far, second 900+ in a row and jump up the rankings further. (No thanks to Cartwright/Taylor but can't expect everyone to perform week in/week out)
It has cost me 2 trades every week to get to this stage, but need to keep the ship afloat.

Anyways there will be some work needed again this week with an eye on the upcoming byes.
I have a few cows very close to being ready to be cashed and a few injured players to replace due to injury so will be a juggling act for a while
    Wish me luck
