R3 Trade planning

Similar to many for last week. Cheese the biggest issue, and played ITT over Alamoti

We already have Walsh - chalk up a win there

Only $10k in the bank for trade planning

Follow the crowd and Preston in for trade 1 I think will be popular. But what to do with trade 2?

With Walsh + Trbo + Miller/Warbrick I think our WFB is set for now. Keep an eye on Teddy/Latrell to time in a trade in, but otherwise we're happy I think.

Hooker/Half our biggest issues with concerns over Boyd + Cheese and Trindall running out of time . Do we stretch for a gun (Cleary to Cook/DCE?) Find another middy who can make some money for us in the short term.

TURBO to Sloan. Smith to Grant or Cook.

Turbo out just after his bye is ambitious. What's the reasoning there?

This is my first instinct but open to other ideas.

The first issue is to fix problems;

Smith is an immediate problem - very tempted by Liddle but happy to go up to the likes of Mahoney et al.

Boyd is also a problem.

Trindall a looming problem.

It’s a big week.

HOK and HLF could both be issues pending TLT.

Smith and Boyd wipe out HOK coverage and Boyd and Trindall wipes out HLF coverage.

Possibly best to wait till we know more and make decisions then.

Smith out is locked I think. Preston needs to come in. The rest of the plan is much more vague after that.

Trade in list:

DCE, SJ, IKatoa
Cook, Grant, Mahoney.

Cleary might need to be considered out to fund a stable Hooker…. Or risk running one of the panthers hookers next week and rely on Boyd for this one?

Cleary and Cheese to Preston & either Reed if we prioritize HOK cover, or Tohu if we want Mid?

Keeping $$ in the bank so we are agile to upgrade to a Clearly/Hynes when they're back.

I vote for this. Would prefer Robson over Mahoney but don't think we have the cash.

Seems pretty sensible

Will wait on TLT, but hoping we get another week out of Trindall.

I would say Smith and Boyd out for Preston and a good hooker. Mahoney / Robson / Liddle / Egan depending on budget and future plans

Boyd named at 7... surely he gets another date
