I will probably do the same. Its not really because of majority? going  hopgood though, more the KISS principle. I bought cook to be the top scorer

Article is all over the place. At first  the clickbait says $90 for a ticket that is $50 at other games, then two sentences later it says its $90 when the same ticket is $70 for other games.

Tiered pricing is nothing new. Been like that at Broncos games for years. Its more expensive to go to broncos vs cowboys on a friday night than it is to go to broncos vs *bad_club* on a sunday night.

Every major sport does the same thing for tiered ticketing depending on time/day and opponent.

    Play on
Lol we charge all away teams the same at our home games we don’t price raise it just as we are playing Penrith or Rorters on a Friday Night or Dogs on a Good Friday and I’m proud of my club for doing the integral thing.

Team Tips: Utility Jake Simpkin is set for a stint on the sidelines after suffering a nasty concussion after a high tackle from Jacob Saifiti. Tukimihia Simpkins could slot into the utility role or Tim Sheens may opt to run a bench full of forwards. Meanwhile, Shawn Blore is set to return and will likely take his spot in the backrow, unless John Bateman looks set to play after spending the first two weeks on the sidelines. Brent Read revealed on NRL360 on Thursday night that the Englishman is likely to play. Bateman missed the first two games of the season to “acclimatise” despite Isaiah Papali’i confirming the backrower had been “rehabbing an injury” in a press conference two weeks. Meanwhile, Fonua Pole could return from a knee injury, likely shifting Brandon Tumeth out of the side. Tommy Talau is also set for a sideline stint after breaking his nose, with Junior Tupou or Starford To’a the candidates to take his spot.

I`m not sure how accurate this is.

Isaiah Papalii is suspended this week. So if Blore and Bateman are both unavailable too, who knows what the Tigers will run out with

Price gouging? I hear ya man why only this week I took a stroll to my local fromagerie and picked up some hand crafted goats cheese for what I thought was a snip at 1 x basquillion $ a kilo.

On the weekend one of my acquaintances in a suburb 500 metres further out of the inner west told me they picked up the same product for a significantly reduced price of 1 x tetrahillion $ a kilo.

Price Gouging? I can only hope that it's old stock. I'll ride my $20k carbon framed racing bike out there on the weekend to check for myself.

Tbf to Rabs, I don't think Sydney stadiums have traditionally done variable pricing between different NRL games. But I could be wrong. Not exactly a frequent attender. Maybe if they bought back the old 3pm kickoffs - the other day I worked out that with having young children and not wanting to take them to a shitty suburban ground with no amenities and/or dodgy public transport links at night in the middle of winter, plus other stuff going on, I'm sizing up R23 at Parramatta Stadium as their first Dragons game since COVID.

I would captain Cook over Hopgood 99/100 if I owned both.

They're gonna burn the kid out at this rate, this could be the week they actually manage him, he gets a still respectable 48 in 53 mins. He's been out on his feet at the back end of both games. Just because he can play 80 doesn't mean he should.

I am expecting R4 to be rest round, Matterson plays 50 off the bench and he plays 50.

Yeah, he can't keep 85's up straight out of the gates forever.

I think Grant or Haas might be the better options.

Yeah, I think it's exciting there's a half dozen or more legit captain choices this week. I said a few pages back I've got it on Douiehi, but more likely I chuck it on Haas. (my balls aren't that big, I dunno even know who the Tigers play yet, haven't looked it up)

Don't wanna be that guy, but I highly highly doubt Tohu gets over the line this week.

hopefully some reverse psychology for your sake!
