Hasn’t sprinted yet… needs a full week at 100% so if he hasn’t trained fully by the end of this week he’s still battling for next weekend

3 weeks for trindall was the hope though so fingers crossed for another 50 to cap a successful stint from him

Congrats to those who went with Trindall. Looks like it's paid off.

Personal opinion, I think he'll hang around until Lane is back, another 4 or so rounds. Matto play as a bench mid. Though it comes with the Carty disclaimer that anything can happen at any given time. I brought him in last week so I am bias towards it working out. Originally didn't think he'd last 80 mins in round 1

Yeah I was leaning towards it's week 3 of a 3 week punt, but for those who already got Preston, genuine cow options are perhaps thin on the ground. So maybe have to look at the upside that he's there for a few more weeks yet.

EDIT: thanks also to MattNZ for the reply!

But you never know. I tend to agree your Capt choice should be a rock solid 60+ pointer. Haas fits that bill.

Yeh, to be clear, it’s not something I expect to happen or even think will happen, but it might happen and I’ve been burnt chasing enough purple patch captains over my time playing to be wary, in the position I’m in, I’d rather settle on a much safer (avoiding injury or HIA, touch wood) 65 minutes for 60+ points.

Unlikely seller, but I think looking at his R1 or R2 scores is pretty faulty in making the decision. For me it'll be:

    1. Are there other more pressing issues?
    2. Do I think 9 weeks of Cleary + a R3 replacement is more/less than 10 weeks of whoever else? Plus the worth of the trade. Because I'm not counting on being able to easily get him back (and that's another trade as well)
    3. Are there other more pressing issues?
    4. We don't talk about number 4

Well Dragons do have a 4 game winning streak dating back to mid-August 2022, the longest in the NRL

Whilst we wait for teamlists, Im gonna put it out there that 100 will be scored this weekend

I'll even go as far as to guess by who.

100 this week to Tommy Turbo with a 2 try beastmode match.

Let's see how this plays out.

Turbo looked short of a gallop in round 1, not in 2021 form at all. Was hooked very early, only came back on when there was an injury in the backs.

Looking forward to Hopgood's first banner, he may have to share it with Kiraz though vs the woeful Tigers.

There's been 3 banners on the VB Hard Earned Index sponsored by VB, Hopgood and Harris R1, and vintage Kiraz in R2.

Where's the 'Nice!' count this season?
