As long as there is no wind, Boyd should do fine.

It wasn’t even that windy on Sunday. Didn’t seem to bother the Dragons kickers. And it was at Kogarah. Imagine if Boyd ever had to play in Wollongong with the wind coming off the beach. Could he even land one of the field?

Boyd will be sweet for a solid 40 today.
I'm taking Doorey's 30 over Uto. If Bateman plays I can't see Uto getting good minutes. Also saves me if an injury or error riddled score, but can't see Uto pumping out a 50+ save a couple of tries.

Lemuelu already has the other EDG.
Te Whare is like Hurrell, but faster and moves better. Averaged 45 in QLD Cup at CTR last season. You want him when you get the opportunity. Insta-fix for CTR at $230k.
Jees he fucking hates being tackled.
Question. Does he wear 19 because he can't fit into a normal centre's jersey?

Boyd in NPR for me so I hope he gets a 35-40 so those who played him are satisfied but I’m not annoyed I missed out

A bit disappointed in Miller, only 6 TBs, that's below his standard

He beat 4 tackles and they took them off him because his team mate was penalised at the end of his run.Chewie wrote:A bit disappointed in Miller, only 6 TBs, that's below his standard

Looks like Talakai to me. Probably scores about the same in first grade, so averaging 30ish?
You'd have to bring him in though cause you don't want to miss out on that six game run and him being compared to Mel Meninga.

Fair comparison, but Talakai averaged 44 at CTR last season and Te Whare looks faster and moves better. Talakai is more power, not evasion.

This is the last cricket they have though Whitey. They're closing Spark Sport soon and the cricket goes back to TVNZ.
For Aus folk who don't know, there is hardly any live sport on free-to-air TV channels in NZ.

Talakai was used as the Sharks main strike weapon for a while before they realised it wasn't sustainable. Over time his average will drop down.
Like I said, could have a similar run of high scoring games if he's in the side for a decent run.
I'd also suggest that reserve grade is a wee way below first grade level and if he's averaging 45 there I can't imagine he'll be equal or higher when he moves up.
I note there are no "big hit" or chasing-someone-down-in-defence highlights. If Bennett is starting Brenko Lee ahead of this guy, he may not be as good as you want him to be.
