Logic checks out but yea that's just not how they do it. Remember the scoring is just based on stats that are kept for nrl use as a whole, so it's not specific to fantasy. NRL "official" stats people must've settled on that definition of a TB at some point.

I dislike TBs stat keeping just in general, players getting awarded a TB for sideways or even backwards slapsies that has no positive impact for their team but goes down as a positive stat just seems weird to me

Did you watch the game? Not all runs are attacking chances. Most of his runs were just cart ups. When they structured some attack in the Tigers end they were going left most of the time. A couple of opportunities they had right Preston forced passes. I can think of one time Kiraz got the ball in the attacking end and it was basically Avo dumping it on him with zero space to do anything.

Decided after week one I’m not going to watch Tigers games live for a while. Even with checking on here and a bunch of messages from mates it’s so much less stressful then watching.
