Dunno if I'd call Fifita and Latrell misfiring guns, but yeah I'd probably be trading Doueihi and Doorey first (Loiero can be held one more week since I think Munster's return might help him)

I don't have Doorey, but he is ticking along as a slow burn right? He beat his BE by about 20 points?

If he is one of your only problems pat yourself on the back.

I don't have him either, but FaringdonSwirl does and I was responding to him.

I don't know about the prognosis of his injury but if he misses any time and there's another cheapie to buy then he can be sold, he won't burn you if you don't have him.

Oh right, I didn't realise he picked up an injury.

I’d say that’s a long way off. He’s not even the most likely winger at his club to make Origin, surely?

Would love to see how Fittler doesn’t pick JAC this year

Trindall updates were not kind to me - lost my L8 match up by 1 pt lol. And dropped from 5K to 9K ranking with this 792. Only real stinker was Warbrick, back to NPR for him. Butcher & Douhicky on the block.. probably to Tohu & SJ.

Not having Warbrick in my 17 was what won me all my league matchups, because I Capt Hoppy instead of Grant, it was touch and go.

Matt, for the sake of forum sanity, do you really need to put into words every positive thought about your players that comes into your head.

This sort of comment just dooms us to pages of snide remarks about origin selection every time the team gets picked.

Addo-Carr didn't even make the origin team last year, and he's a better winger than Kiraz is.

Missing a player over origin period isnt a positive thought at all.

    HessHaasHissHoss week 3 player ratings:

Cook (C) (52) 7/10 - would have been a 6, except that other captain options were worse.
    Haas (65) 9/10 - mr dependable
Carrigan (51) 8/10 - bit disappointing that he had some downdates, but still good in a tough week
Collins (40) 7/10 - looks good IRL, but it's just not quite converting to points
EButcher (37) 6/10 - probably going this week or next. Just doesn't seem to have the big scores in him
EKatoa (58) 9/10 - didn't see the game, but happy I didn't dump him after an ordinary Rd 1. Looks like he could be a cut price keeper
Doueihi (33) 3/10 - was terrible, 33 flatters him. Got to go.
Trindall (54) 9/10 - fantastic score, especially since he played most the 2nd half with an ankle injury.
HTF (38) 7/10 - was hoping for more as a new trade in, but can't complain for a cheapish CTR/WFB. His DPP will be useful
Alamoti (50) 9/10 - played well, and updating to 50 was nice
Turbo (75) 10/10 - more of this please
Latrell (46) 7/10 - up and down performance, but being able to score this well with fairly limited involvement is a win
Warbrick (13) 3/10 - didn't see the game, but could have played AKP for 3x the points

Hopgood (35) 6/10 - didn't captain him, so I'm not massively upset at the score
    Cartwright (45) 8/10 - party party party
Preston (54) 10/10 - only really missed 1 week of price rises, glad I got on
Boyd (42) 7/10 - good bounce back by the look of it

Doorey (30) 6/10 - could have been so much better but for the injury
IKatoa (25) 6/10 - looks the goods IRL, but hasn't translated to fantasy (yet)
HSS (20) 5/10 - not sure he's got big scores in him. Fine to stay on the bench while he's making coin
AKP (38) 8/10 - after a duck egg in week 1, happy just to see him start to make some money

    Average (Squad) - 7.1/10
    Average (Scorers) - 7.4/10

Yeah just had him listed as a concern for his knee, though I think they ruled out ACL on the coverage.

This weekly bye is making things challenging, without making any trades I'd be forced to play one of Doorey, HSS, IKat , or Warbrick. That doesn't really fill me with confidence.
Although Warbrick vs Tigers looks appealing

Jeez, talk about a backhanded 'fuck you' type remark to one of the only blokes on here that has backed you and jumped to your defence each time you cop a mouthful from the rest of us. Real classy mate. Keep it up.

But don't stress, you'll have Kiraz over Origin mate, I'm pretty sure on that. Unless you trade him by then, which is quite possible.

Doorey should only miss 1-2 weeks. He is probably a hold if you can manage it/have other issues to deal with, even though its a bit of a slow burn.

I thought the same about Warbrick vs Titans and Bulldogs

Both times Sloan has made me look stupid but I know Warbrick will punish as soon as I drop him to the bench. Sloan vs Sharks this week too hmm Question
