Sitting with my option B this week which is:

    Doorey > Lemuelu
    Butcher > Turbo

Gives me a 18-21 which looks more like it should with Loiero, HSS, Warbrick, Trindall.
Cue a Warbrick double and 45 points against the Tigers.

    Option 1: Doueihi + Sutton > Turbo + Half (Moses/ARey/SJ)
Option 2: Doueihi + Sutton > Lemuelu + Half (as above)
Option 3: Doueihi + Sutton > Lemuelu + Turbo and run Boyd as a half for one week (no cover for him and then also no HOK cover for Robson).

I want option 3 to not miss out on Turbo, but don't want to do option 1 as I might miss out on some good Lemuelu scores in CTR. At this stage I'm thinking:

    - Lemuelu outscores HSS by 20 points on average
    - Turbo outscores Warbrick by 40 on average
    - SJ (et all) outscores Boyd by 20 points on average

Thinking of it that way makes me think I should go with Turbo + Half as having Boyd cover 2 positions is quite valuable, and getting in Lemuelu early only appears to have a $$$ effect on my team rather than overall points.

Can I get some feedback on these musings? Feel like I'm missing something!

This is not advice, but I am 90% trading Hastings out for turbo and will be running boyd at half, which leaves no hooker cover, and trindall will be in my 18-21, only for one week

The lure of turbo at that price is too tempting for me and not the fear of missing out but the annoyance of missing turbo will be too much for me

Holding injured/bye players really is satisfying sometimes. Getting Ford + CNK + Cleary back this round plus the injection of Turbo + SJ or something similar. Really feels like a huge boost to my team and I'm quietly optimistic for a 900+ score this week.

I have to play BMM in 17 then loop Doorey or Trindall and loop Warbrick or AKP. Sad times

People bringing in Lemuelu, are you hoping he’s a season keeper at CTR or is it a cash grab who you’ll trade out later?

I'd be bringing him in hoping he locks down that 2RF spot and becomes a season keeper at CTR averaging around 40 odd

Hoping he might be a cheapish season keeper but if he can make 100k then I wouldn’t be unhappy. I’m still not sold on bringing in another player for the CTR position but yeah it’s for Doorey and things don’t look good for him

I'm looking to bypass the 900 and go straight for the thousand. Captain Grant for 70, VCleary for 100 and a bunch of 50s and 60s for everyone else should get me there. Just quietly.

With Wallace back in the 17 and Kaufusi currently named, it seems as though they want him at 2rf. The Phins will get JMK back which doesn't impact anything re: Lemuele.

If he Averages 40 it's a solid centre option.

Don't think you'll 'miss out' on Turbo. Outside of PVL ball he hasn't averaged 50 in a season. Give him the benefit of the doubt and say he averages 50 the next few weeks, he'll still just be 700k (50k more than now) in Round 6

I prefer option 3 where you think of it as a 2 week problem where you want Turbo, Lemuelu and a half.  Under that option you may prefer the half before Lemuele based on breakevens (eg SJ and Lemuele both BE of 30)

Do I understand that absolutely no one is holding Doueihi? Sounds like he’ll be a sweet POD if he is miraculously not absolute shit this week. Very unlikely, understandably. Just wish he didn’t have his current break even while I take this destined to fail gamble.

    Cheers lads

Might grab him as well so I can avoid playing HSS. Gives me enough to go Trindall > Teddy/Walsh next round so I don’t have Warbrick in the 17. Having those 2 20s scorers in the 17 isn’t helping my scores. Nor is not owning Harry Grant.

There are guys in form that you can trade him to this week in SJ and Reynolds, who both play round 13. If you wait a week he drops in price while they both increase.

    Goddamnit snatch.

I bought Nulliver in R2 just before his 7, and was now being all controlled and subtle waiting for a string of scores.

    And you ruined it

No ifs, no buts, no style.... just bulldozed into downtown Jinx at happy hour asking the barman for a 'strong' bourbon and ginger ale. Doubled down by putting on a dodgy dogs quinella from some bloke at work that you told the whole pub to get on.

    Goddamnit Snatch.
