When I calculated my scoring, that included the 80 something from Thursday night scores. Since the official number appears to be 78, that demotes my round score to 997. I suppose had Cleary scored 79, then I could really be Bang

Nah you're not imagining it. I saw that as well, but the interchange timeline showed he was subbed off/on again, so just assumed an error. Its been happening a bit this year, just not to any really fantasy relevant players. Waddel was showing as having scored 27 pts in 1 minute of play, new PPM GOD?. But yeah, looks like it was fixed up on review.

I’ve made some clangers this year and despite my best self sabotage efforts my rank isn’t bad so there hope for everyone else surely

My notification came under Cleary’s name, and I was like yes, the issue being Cleary did not get his ghost points. Cool

I have $400k ITB, and E.Butcher, Tofu, Trindall & HSS all sitting in my team begging me not to ditch them.
I need an uber-gun (Chin / Hynes) and can afford either if I sell EButcher / Tofu.
Thoughts on which gun to go for?
Hynes - likely to be skipped for SOO, Chin is definitely in. But, Hynes has his bye Rd. 6, Chin has already had his 1st bye. (Just putting thoughts on 'paper' to get my ideas clear).

Then, only have 2 trades this week - yes I'm living large trade wise.
Hosking looks like a must-have cow if he's named, but Ford is also juicy and offers DPP Mid (which the sale of Tofu will likely require).
I could run with no Mid cover (Hopgood in the 13), but is this a risk too far?

TU: Tofu + Trindall > Hynes + Ford
TD: Tofu + Trindall > Chin + Hosking

I think HSS can sit around in NPRs giving me centre cover for the time being.

Crazy though, winning most of my mini leagues but look at the FFog league and it's only good enough for 18th! Some serious fantasy brains in here and it's a pleasure to be a part of!

    Pre TLT trades:

    Fifita & Doorey -> JBrai & Ford

Leaves me 400k ITB for bringing Beanz in post bye

Was just going to upgrade the likes of Trindall to Brailey but thinking about it now, Fifita to Brailey might be the play and build up the bank.

Selling Fifi is wild. Is it just because of bye?

I'm leaning towards Cleary, buying him at a slight discount
When we get out 3 trade option from week 7 onwards it may be easier to shuffle things around to get Hynes in

Of course the round 4 winner is 79 points behind me and closing in fast. But yeah, massive week for him.

I can't get Hynes without doing something really stupid.

That also happens to be my specialty.

I am planning to do the Tofu + Trindall > Hynes + Ford trade. Fortunately have just enough bank, surprised at the low cash changes this week.

At least once every year I do a major brain fart that creates an oversize dint in my overall aspirations.

Planned trades all week were SJ and Null2.

At the last minute I decided that Wakeham was better value than SJ (and I had to play him).
And somehow forgot that Null plays for Titans and forgot to make the actual trade. Grabbed Bird at last minute to avoid playing HSS.

The worst part is that I did the exact same thing with Jock Madden last year. Some of you warned against this exact thing. What an idiot.

So that's about 60 point loss, and a huge chunk of lost $'s.

Silver lining might be option to use the $574 bank to get Hynes....
