Current early thoughts do the Carrigan to Hosking part now to have the money ready for after the Hynes bye.

I have Haas, Hopgood, Tapine so feels like Carrigan is my most likely candidate to become Hynes.

Carrigan is averaging 59. I don't think Hynes will be scoring 90+ each week. Also had a R6 bye.

I don't think it should influence anyones decision one way or the other but I think it's risky to presume that Hynes won't make the Origin side.

Fittler is a massive proponent of Harlem Globetrotters style 'pick the best players' and chuck them on the field style team selection.

Haha, I had more to come, but then some tossers broke the chain Suspect

I liked you better before you started playing too Evil or Very Mad

Looks like we only have about 3 or 4 players different at a glance. Kenny vs Grant, SJ vs whatever shit half I play (Katoa/Hands(?)), Perham vs. Trbo and 17th man vs. Hosking maybe.

    SJ averaging over 60 too.

Definitely falls into the tearing your team apart to get Hynes basket.

Just read (in The Shire Herald) Tallis blasting the playing group at the Dragons saying it's not Griffin's fault they fell away in the last two games.

''How many coaches do the Dragons have to have before the blame gets put onto the players?'' he asks incredulously.

Haven't they had just two full time coaches in the last decade or so? Isn't the roster significantly different to when McGregor last coached? Love Gordy but fuck me these dudes say some ridiculous shit.

In that spirit, I don't think it's likely but I don't think it's out of the question Fitler could dream up a Hynes/Cleary halves combo over the likes of Luai.

I don't think that would work, to be clear, but I don't think it's impossible especially if the Panthers aren't quite at the level they have been the last few years.

Wasn’t Nicho the NSW 18th man last year? Still gets ruled out of the club games if he keeps that spot right?

Yeah I might end up with a 17th man loop between Warbrick and someone if TLT isn't kind.

At least after this week, it's smooth sailing for us from the byes until Storm in Rd 9.

I've held Trbo, Cleary, Teddy and will be Boyd this week and still improving scores and moving up in rank each round. People trading Cleary for the bye and looking at bringing in Hynes right before his bye doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Would Hosking get 80 mins even if he starts though? Maybe the plan this year for their other backrower to Martin is to play like 60 mins as Garner had been getting subbed off...

    Just a thought
