I think i've made my bed tbh. I was trying to ease up on trades due to max trading every week so far. Just wanted to bank the extra cash to get Hynes after the bye (via Butcher and Carty), and save a few trades for a while, hence grabbing the cheaper Ford with solid JS and hoping Hosking doesnt gun it. Its going to backfire, but oh well.

I'm wondering if anyone has any opinions on someone I haven't seen mentioned much in Jack Bird.

I started the year with him hoping for a season keeper at CTR but with the Dragons looking a rabble the last 2 weeks and JDB back this week, so who knows what Hook is going to do and I fear Bird is about to drop cash and provide rubbish scores.

I'm looking to trade in Jackson Ford this week, originally it was going to be for Trindall, but if Bird scores a 30 and Trindall gets on the park that could be a 40k-50k difference in cash made/lost next week.

The counter is if Bird scores a 45 I'd be happy to keep him.

So my choice this week is:

Trindall to Ford +9k
or Bird to Ford +242k

I always lean to holding the guy with solid job security. Sometimes this doesn't work out though. Even if Trindall makes 20k this week, thats about as far as it goes unless there's an injury.

At least Bird is playable next week if other team issues come up.

I would be tempted to keep Bird in CTR but that is because my CTR is trash.

Questions: who would you have left in your CTR?

Could you use the 242k toward Hynes in two rounds>?

Trindall out for me. Which one has more potential to annoy you? Trindall making 20k and you miss out or bird goes back to 40+ scoring and doing what you bought him for?

For me, Bird is a keeper and Trindall will need to leave your team and although I know it’s not that black and white, it makes a definite Trindall to Ford from me.

Can you please explain how the bye round data works? Is it just for the round 13 bye and does it exclude origin certainties?

I've also caved and got Hosking (for Boyd). What are saved trades anyway? Something for when we have three of them, clearly.
