Would like to get HSS out of my 13, or ideally out of my 21, but the latter could be tricky. Needing to save trades and wanting to save bank for Hynes in the process.

Who is your back 5? Having to play HSS isn't ideal

I like it. I made the trade last week for similar reasons.
Brailey gives you some much needed quality at Hooker, locked in for 50 every week and gives you good availability over the Origin period.
    You'll be able to play him Rds 13, 15, 16, 17, 18

Yeah I'm looking at Latrell to Sloan this week, build the Hynes fund.
Latrell doesn't look 100% and Sloan can put up similar scores for about 300k less, is still making money and plays 13

Yep really like the look of this trade myself too.
Latrell just isnt forming the consistency I had hoped he would and that cash will really help improve my team elsewhere

No doubt he will score a double while setting up a few the week I do this, but got to live with that risk

Also looking at this trade, only thing is seems coach has called him out for not being involved early.

Does that see a shift in his mindset?

You can't play him 19, but being available both 13 and 16 is huge. Only other teams playing 13 and 16 are Cowboys (Robson staying stubbornly expensive) and Sea Eagles. Note all 3 have a bye between 13-16, so can still be a bit tricky.

Not owning Murray or Grant really got me this round. Trading Fifita rather than Carrigan also hurts, however Carrigans run of games without a bye will come good, surely. They won't blow out that often.

Overall rank dropped from 671 to 854. Crazy.

HSS on the block this week, need a cash cow

Finally, I will not trade Trindall before 1 more price rise, GRRRRRR
I’m 1 point ahead of you in 833rd.

Dally M Leaderboard after Round 5
16 points — Harry Grant (Storm)
16 points — Payne Haas (Broncos)
16 points — Reece Walsh (Broncos)
14 points — Jacob Kiraz (Bulldogs)
14 points — Shaun Johnson (Warriors)
    13 points — Tino Fa'asuamaleaui (Titans)
12 points — Tom Trbojevic (Sea Eagles)
11 points — Adam Reynolds (Broncos)
11 points — Ben Hunt (Dragons)
11 points — Nathan Cleary (Panthers)
    10 points — Daly Cherry-Evans (Sea Eagles)

The 2 judges things means some wild swings week-to-week, but I guess it also smooths out some of the more questionable calls e.g. Mulitalo got 2 points yesterday from one judge, which must mean talking a bunch of shit is more important than catching uncontested bombs.

I know how this feels.  The misses tells me all the time, 'you're on the couch, man' each time we have a blew.  It's a definite downgrade when it's not even a fold out.

Maybe it does for one round.
But Latrell strikes me as the type to plays to his own tune and doesnt really like being told how to play so who knows

In my situation, you replace Latrell with Tedesco. That does look like a decent run of games for Sloan and I’m not sure how well I’ll cope with having ITT’s 18 points in round 6. Also, I think, it would give me abouts $520K, which 🤞should permit me to go Carty Party>Hynes round 7.

Even if he is named on the bench this week, one would expect Cartwright to get enough minutes to not lose too much, if any money??

Latrell to Sloan still won't give me enough funds to get Nicho in.
I'll be looking at a possible Carty to Nikorima cash-out to top up the fund next week

    Morning all

A busy weekend means I didn't catch a lot of footy. Unfortunately, I did catch the Raiders game in person.

My score was 937 and I dropped around 1000-2000 ranks approx. I'm around 18000 but always start slow.

    The good:

Traded Sutton for Hosking and Trindall for SJ (spent my Hynes money to do this)

Cook finally had a good week, unfortunately so did Harry Grant

    The bad:
    HSS has to go
Premium fullbacks not paying off (Lattrell, Turbo)
    I don't own Haas

Congrats to all that had a good round and keep on plugging away to those that didn't. There's plenty of time to comeback.
