Anyone rate Sele as a downgrade for Carty Party?

298k BE 23 (thanks Milchy <3 ) and got 41 in 47 mins last weekend, with most of it in base.

He has his HIA-affected score in his avg but that will roll out soon enough.

Ofa will come back in soon enough. I don't think he's a fantastic player but he's in their best 17. Obviously dropped to try and spark something. Seemed to be lacking fitness too.

Ran 240m in 65 mins in nsw cup on the weekend.

What do we think the chances are that he retains the Edge role?
    He'd be a nice trade-out for Carty.

could make some cash but unfortunately doesn't pass the "doesn't play for the Tigers" test that is a necessity to make it into my fantasy team

I've been looking at him too, If he gets those minutes could make some cash and score some points. I wouldn't be playing him in my 17 though.

Yeah I would not need to play him so that's not an issue (I would be playing Warbrick, Keppie or Sloan in the last spot)

As long as Sele doesn’t sleep in then I think he’s a good option. Hopefully his clocks have been adjusted for Daylight Savings

I like the Sele shout, I don't know what his xMins are going forward, but historically if he gets 30+ he'll do ok and if he gets 40+ he'll rake in the cash

Crichton long term watch for sure. I'm weighing up how badly I want to remove HSS as CTR cover. The Storm pair are the cheapest regular CTRs right now if I don't want to wait. Or spend on Bird

There are a lot of decent players that will bottom out over the next 2,3,4 weeks if you can be patient and lucky enough to time moves

In positional then no particular order I've got eyes on:
Brailey, Cheese, Liddle (if he builds mins)
    Harris, McInnes (role?), Mann
    Friz, Bateman, RFM
    Moses, DBrown
    Olam
    Mitchell, Teddy, Drinkwater

The fullbacks are interesting. I kinda want to hold my nose and get Miller 5 weeks and 200k too late, but it's also tempting to ignore and just time Perham/CNK to say Teddy/Drinkwater

Just looking at a Bird alternative when Alamoti peaks, although given current form I'm happy to let Alamoti sit there.

Have Lemuelu in the other spot...got about 22 points worth of negatives on Saturday (which is not typical) so not super worried about the 30's score. Also passed the eye test when watching him live.

Yeah I don’t have Null so I’m eyeing him off

Could always just play ITT instead and get Crichton or Lomax when they drop more cash too…

Who here DOESNT have Cleary or Hynes yet ? And what's your play from here?

Hynes obviously has the bye this week, but he's also 130k more than Cleary.

I can reasonably comfortably grab Cleary this week with two trades, the second will be a cash down, but doesn't need to be in playable 17.

Team is slipping down the rankings despite not looking entirely bad on paper.

I don't have Hynes and I'm not religious. So I have no idea how to get him in at this point.

I'd prioritise Cleary in your situation because as you say he can play this week and is significantly cheaper. Actually Hynes won't catchup the extra game until R16, and that assumes he's not in Origin team by then

I share Rabbits21 view that it's hard to get both now without running very thin or having had phenomenal cash gen. That might just be a sad indictment on my team status though, and maybe its easier than I think?

I keep looking at my team and wondering how I’m ranked so damn low. I didn’t stray too far away from the forum template yet I’m sitting around 17k.

I’ve done my best to get rid of the dead wood picks, maybe it just needs time
