    Hodgson
    Haas, hopgood, ford
    Fifita, Preston
    Moses, hands
    Penis, alamoti
    Walsh, turbo, Miller

    Teddy, carty, carrigan, Hoskins

    Warbrixk, Hss, Luke, afk

Yeah Hooker and HLF a disaster. I'd love to get you Grant Cook or Cleary, don't think it's possible. Too many duds. I'd be looking to try and get some cash rises going with playable guys. Something like Hodgson to Brandon (Hodgson gotta go), and one of the duds to KNik and hope he puts up a few decent scores. Slowly build the bank and use it to potentially get Hynes in one trade for whichever gun gets injured.

This is basically what I wrote up before Mulvy Ninja'd me. I don't see the upside of trading out a gun now (Teddy/Carrigan the ones I've seen others trading - I think they deserve patience) so try not to be tempted by that. Hard to say much more prior to team lists.

Pending teamlists and injury news.. I might look at trading Teddy and Hodgson.

Need HLF and HK.. BSmith might be a good option, but still 50k short of Cleary and 13k short of DCE. Could afford anyone else though. Moses or Burton for a bit cheaper maybe. Kodi would leave a sizeable bank for a gun next week.

Alternatively, Hodgson to Smith and HSS to Kodi Niko if wanting to keep Teddy. Might be able to turn Carty into one of the gun targets next week.

Sorry you already have Moses, brainmelt moment.

Who do people have listed as captaincy options for the R13? Thinking about MS's strategy of having all the captaincy options and worrying less about have 13.

R13: SJ, Hopgood, Robson, Moses. Matto? Koloa? Frizzell?

Those are the highest averages at the moment that I can see playing that round. Plus Friz who should be good for mid to high 50s.

    Anyone else at this stage?

Magic Numbers, Maths and General Guns Comment

Magic number has fallen ~10% from how prices were set.  [Starting prices based off MG of ~14.3 I believe]
All players need to score 10% more than 2022 to maintain price.
From $ perspective, biggest impact is on the most expensive players. ie the Guns.
A gun who has maintained price (eg D Fifita, down only $5k), can be considered to be exceeding expectations.

    Using Hynes as an Example

Hynes started the year at $984k.  Magic Number 14.3.  Priced to score 69, his 2022 average.

If he was still $984k. Magic Number 13.0.  Priced to score 76.  He needs to outscore 2022 by 7 points (10% more) to retain his price.

At current price, $1,008k. Magic Number 13.0.  Priced to score 78

If he scores at 69 average for rest of year, and magic number stays at 13.0, his price will drop by $98k to $910k.

Teddy + Hodgson to Robson and BSmith

Gives you a decent HOK plus HOK cover, Robson plays round 13 and will probably be the best option at HOK there is for that round and BSmith has bottomed out in price this week, versing his old club he’s going to leave nothing out on the field.

Thanks all for the tips. Will keep an eye on teams list. As suggested, Might try need to play the long game from here to recover from a poor start.

Hodgo has to go, cheese is a much better player, scores still not exciting me but likely a better option
