    Brailey ==> Luke
    Hopgood ==> Hynes
    Martin == Miller

    How does this look?

    If Crossland does get the HOK gig I could get him instead of Luke but he is not a HOK yet in the system. I would need to wait until R12 with just Boyd - I could always upgrade Nikorama/IKatoa to Crossland the following week?

    Miller with goal kicking seems to be the premier option at WFB this year. Consistent scoring

    Btw, as good as $0 looked, and as telling as it is regarding Manly’s right edge, I don’t think I can be comfortable any longer with Warbrick in my 17, I’m potentially looking at:

    Hopgood>Matto
    Carrigan>????
    Warbrick>Walsh

    Crossland leaves me $312K, the other options a bit less.

    Is the Carrigan trade necessary? Priced just under 55 and averaging 53. Last year was 50 neat with a 29 min game (injury?).. so probably only fractionally overpriced.

    Leaves your MIDs a little light with Matto, Tapine, Ford and BMM for cover. BMM to the Couch potentially, though Crossland at HK could be good too.

    Currently thinking

    Hopgood- Matterson
    Loiero- Couchman
    Warbrick- CNK

    CNK I believe was Player 1 in a previous post.

    Really like the idea of him in my WFB instead of Warbrick

    I’d like it to be Crossland starting and moving to the middle when Mann comes on. If one of Johns or Croker make their 17, it’s likely CrossMann minutes could be split more evenly? No idea. It helps to type whilst I think.

    I am hoping Crossland gets 9, Mann comes on at 30 minutes in at lock, Crossland gets 60 at HOK, with Mann finishing the game there (unless there is an injury anywhere on the field, when Crossland gets close to 80 at HOK).

    Haven't had much time this year to do a long look at stats, but with the general crop of common WFBs and CTRs performing like roadkill armadillo last round, it really hurt if you didn't have Hammer and/or Walsh and were relying on the likes of Warbrick, ITT, Sloan, Perham (or maybe all of them). Problem this year has been players sustaining unsustainable scoring. So here's an interesting one.

    In games over 60mins:
    Player 1 = 46.3 Ave (6.3 TK, 4.8 TB, 1.3 OH, 204 MG, 4 pts/p/g from T/TA/LB/LBA). High of 51, Low of 41.
    Player 2 = 48.7 Ave (5.7 TK, 4.7 TB, 0 OH, 156 MG, 17 pts/p/g from T/TA/LB/LBA). High of 65, Low of 28.

    There's $103k between the two. Who would you rather?

    I'd go 1 (price dependent)

    Haven't cheated, player 2 is Hammer? Not sure about 1 of the top of my head. Probably some CTR noone is paying attention to.

    Nah I own CNK and he hasn't been that good

    Looked it up - and it is a CTR noone is paying attention to. Except maybe Revs.

    EDIT: scrap that it is CNK if you take out the HIA game, my bad. The player I thought it was has that average and very consistent, but a slightly lower floor and higher ceiling

    Carrigan is one I would probably be trading out at some point. With a lot of my dudes still in that $500K range, it’s nearly impossible to trade them down in order to do my dastardly plan of breaking Walsh this week.

    Yeah I'll probably be dropping him before origin too, and admittedly crossed my mind for Hynes this week if Hopgood didn't shit the bed.

    Tapine's bye is next week, so you might be trading for a MID instead of playing BMM. BSmith or Couch could still be on the menu though.

    I didn't realise Lawton was injured. Could see a decent role for Weekes off the bench.

    Trindall + Brailey + Alamoti --> Bird + Teddy + Weekes (assuming Ted gets named)

    Go check out my Team Tracker for my (no doubt flawed) reasoning.
