Seeing some huge trade ins being made which makes me feel I'm being way too cautious with what I'm thinking of doing. It's an interesting decision: go hell for leather now and try and YOLO it through Origin, or look forward and hope some moves now keep you in touch, and then progress come origin time.

    Anyway, looking at doing:

    JBrailey > Robson
    Meaney > CNK

The Meaney news sucked because he was doing such an awesome job. But with a bye in two weeks, R13... maybe now is the time to jump off. Although, could play Warbrick and hold Meaney in NPR...

That's great, but Paulo won't play 30 mins.

But he will take 10-15 minutes from Matterson and 10 minutes from Makatoa/Murchie, maybe a few from Regan.. which was my point. I was just letting potential Matterson owners know - A valid contribution in my book

It's more plausible Makatoa or Murchie won't get any minutes, as per the BA playbook.

I do wonder, if we all owned Matto instead, would Paulo's return take 10 mins from Matterson Hopgood and 10 mins from Makatoa and 10 mins from Murchie?

    Arthur, are you there?

You called but you got the wrong Arthur - this is Jake...

Yeah Dad's gonna give some of Matto's minutes to Paulo - You heard it here second cheer

Here’s my trades for those who want a laugh. My ranking is fucked. So is my team.

    Brailey/Trindall/Hopgood > Crossland/Couchman/Hynes. Desperate times. 31,000th 😁

Lol this forum has lost its mind.

Hopgood isn't that good. No team is moving heaven and earth for him to get more minutes.

Matto is twice the player he is, and has the ticker to go 80. You should all do yourself a favour and go and look at the missed tackle numbers for Matto over 75 mins and Hopgood over 65 mins. Tell me Hopgood is stealing minutes from Lane, Matto, Carty or Paulo. This is total nonsense notion.

Eels have lost because of terrible defense (Carty, Doorey, Hopgood). They had one of the strongest forward packs in the comp, now it leaks more then my crutch on a Friday night.

Hopgood days as a keeper are up. Strong cope here.

Matterson played over 61 minutes at lock 0 times last season.

Hopgood was played for 70+ minutes to avoid playing any minutes from Makatoa one week and Greig another week.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see where minutes will be taken from.

No point watching ale when barney & marata due back walker not certain to retain tmms spot tohu due back the mins and rotations are changing game by game and after watching all our press conferences it seems webby just plays what's in front of him with no real concrete plan I know other coaches do the same but I feel he takes it to another level any time he's asked about key moments in the game he often replies I was to busy deciding who needs to go where and do what.

With ITT out and no centre cover, the word is Bird.

    OUT:

Warbrick - BE close to his average so not much $ left to make at this rate and would be traded out before the Storm bye anyway.
Hopgood - not getting involved in the minutes talk but can't see how he averages 55+ going forward which is what he's priced out.

    IN:

Couchman - benchie but mins seem to be increasing along with workload. Hopefully that continues. Good BE if he ends up being a short term thing. Good byes if he sticks around.
Bird - keeper centre replacing ITT in my starting 17.

Feels dirty going double Dragon. :/

From what I can tell, only 1 person has posted about holding Hopgood, so uhh.. who the fuck cares?

I'm trading him, some guys over there are trading him, no need to justify it to anyone.
