Laying the foundations mate, scribing.
Didn't make any regretful trades I hope ?

No it won’t continue. Tatola is an outside chance of next week but is likely back for the game against Broncos the week after. Tom played a few less mins than usual too. I think Keaon going off injured stuffed the rotations a bit too. Moale is not a fantasy pick up.mattnz wrote:
Any thoughts on why Moale was suddenly trusted with lots of minutes? Do you expect that to continue?

Seriously though, Christchurch isn't the best place for a NRL team, Crusaders have 95% of the Market.....and the poor Queensland boys would freeze.

Thats basically why dolphins won the bid. Its a business end of the day
I feel ya. Kodi and now Hame. 20-21 are just stinking up the placeMF wrote:Welp, switching Sele for Couchman last minute I already know was the wrong move

Are there many NRL players from the South Island? I seem to recall that Simon Mannering was pretty much the only South Islander of note in the comp when he was playing

and he was from Nelson I think? (top of the South island).
I think we've had a few. Lewis Brown from Chch. Tevaga and Isaako the only current players I can think of off the top of my head from Chch.
Reckon there are more from Wellington. Tana Umaga (former ABs captain) played league in high school before he switched.

I imagine as people get Hynes in, we'll see a little bit of difference week to week.
I brought in Hynes this week, but the C is on Cleary.rhinoceroo wrote:
Those will be last week's figures, not taking trades into account. Even ynot's won't account for pending trades, only locked in captain choices, so I suppose with 962 Cleary, 18 Haas and 8 Hynes there are another 12 spare who might be captaining a freshly bought Hynes. Either way, it's not very many.
(eg if I've traded Trindall to Hynes and captained him it'll still show up on the fantasy site as captain Trindall until the game)

Late Mail: Liam Martin and Luke Garner both racing the clock to play after being named in the reserves, with Zac Hosking and Lindsay Smith to make way if they are deemed fit.

Martin in for Smith is almost a certainty
I'd be very surprised if Garner replaces Hosking

I played league in New Zealand when I was a kid. We played a team called something like Tikapunga Buffalos and East End Sharks and I'm pretty sure there was a pirate team but a different name to the one you said. In one of the teams we played they had a girl playing. She made the front page of the paper tackling my mate. Haha. After a match with another team all of the Kiwi boys were break dancing in the dressing rooms. It was very cool.\
Maybe, Cleveland Pirates??
