I don’t think either of those “cons” are particularly devastating

Sure katoa could play well, he could also play crap

    We have plenty of trades

Exactly, those were the only cons I could think of Very Happy

I'm all aboard as long as I see Manu named at 6 and ideally Walker not in the 21 at all (as is rumoured).

Means my CTR spot is locked down for the long term (with Bird and Manu) and the duals (for both Manu and Hammer) means I can rotate them through WFB to cover byes which is super handy.

Almost certain my rise last year coincided with stumbling into manu for the origin rounds and his big scores, I need PODs and boom scores to climb back up

I’m gonna risk him as well I think

I'm 92 overall and 2nd for the month of April, but I still think he's worth the risk given that Ekat probably isn't a season keeper anyway, and I have David Fifita at EDG already so not like I need more EDG guns.

I didn't own Manu over Origin last year and I got absolutely mauled in that period.

    YOLO

Carrigan+EKatoa to Teddy+Manu. Leaves me a 14-21 with one forward (Couchman at 21) to cover both MID & EDG.

Next week the plan would be Warbrick and AKP to Young and a cheap mid.

Carty Warbrick Alamoti to Fifi Manu <230k guy is looking pretty appealing if one pops up.

Just hesistant im taking on alot of cheap guys.

Carty Warbrick Carrigan to Fifi Manu Cheese is another option that really fixes my team up everywhere with DPP and cover.

    Robson
    Murray Haas Ford
    Katoa, Hosking
    Cleary Reynolds
    Bird Alamoti
    Miller Teddy Manu

    Fifita, Cheese, Preston, Warbrick/I.Katoa

    Warbrick/I.Katoa, Tommy T, Kodi, Couchman

Of the 2 Carrigan looks the bigger hold to me given 50k cheaper.

I’d love to but I have no mid cover.

Looking at taps to cheese, bmm to host and warbrick to manu.

Only thing I'd say here is that Carrigan is an Origin player, so he's probably a sell over those rounds anyway.

Pending TLT it’ll be likely Manu or TPJ for me in for Carty

I think both options score pretty much exactly the same (TPJ 50-55 + Alamoti 30-35 VS Manu 50-55 + IKatoa 30-35)

I would assume Manu regresses somewhat from a 69 (nice) average at 5/8 given the attacking stats in the 4 game sample size (4 tries, 5 TA, 3 LB, 4 LBA, 2 games with 14 & 15 TBs for 8 average)

Edit: Can’t afford Manu in 1 trade like TPJ, guess it won’t be Manu
