Players are often admired for running around at 100% for 80 mins, pointing and shouting a lot. You need that and it's going to keep your team competitive but generally it's not going to win you many games when it gets to the pointy end of the season when everyone is going 100%.

Players have different playing styles, skill sets and abilities and lambasting one very excellent player for not being more like another very excellent player is a bit of a pointless exercise imo. Maybe Latrell would be better if he went 100% all of the time but he probably wouldn't. Trying to turn a player into someone else rarely works.

So expect Katoa to go 60+ and Warbrick to get a hatty.

Yeah I’m in a similar boat. Not Turbo, but own Haas

Considering going early on Katoa to Cheese or JDB. I’m not fully convinced on either though but do think JDB gets big minutes this week

It reminds me a bit of the criticism that Usman Khawaja used to cop for not looking like he cared enough/wasn't trying when he got out.

I think some athletes are just so naturally talented & they make difficult skills look so easy, that it can come across like they're not trying when they really are.

Just realised Katoas 40 has already been added on. Not so great after all.

So if my opponent has Katoa in the loop, that is already added to his score?

Warbrick to CNK worth doing for someone who also has Haas, Turbo, Hosking, Loeiro and Alamoti to navigate next week?

Depends on who they are using to loop.

If it`s a player who`s team has played and they didn't play it will be there.

However I think if you are looping with a raiders player it hasn`t been added on yet.

Someone correct me if I`m wrong.

    HSS is in my loop.

Best to add it up manually if in doubt.

Think Hosking is an easy hold, playing Tigers, maybe just given a breather. Reality is he’s not a seasoned first grader yet

Well said, the “selective outrage” in our society has always been a joke, we all know what the one thing the Mitchell’s, Fifita’s and Khawaja’s have in common……
No different on here really is it though?
Watched some casual/blatant racism on here last weekend get less call-outs and downvotes than a positive post from Mattnz.
The one thing I found funny/ironic was the Erin Molan defence…
“It’s not racist because it’s an inside joke on racism”.
Anyway thanks for pointing it out.

I have to plead ignorance in regards to the blatant racism in here that you’re referring to, and I’m not going to argue with you over it.
However, I think the racism card gets played far too often.
When you act like a fuckwit, it doesn’t matter what colour/race/sexual persuasion etc that you are.

PS. Not my downvote. I very rarely downvote anyone.

Yeah, I try not to use the term racism as it tends to suck the air out of any discussion (obviously there are those that are proudly racist but they don't live here as far as I'm aware).

People have different ideas about what it constitutes but you can guarantee that most people get their back up when the implication is that something they say might err on the wrong side if the line.

People with their back up tend not to back down or reconsider.

It is always important to ask yourself whether or not you are holding everyone, or every player in this case, to the same level of accountability. Your race should not give you a 'get out of jail' card but neither should it mean you have to try harder.
