We only have 18 players this week, and adequate looping opportunities, but just voting to see who we put in that loop spot.


With Cleary under an injury cloud, captaincy vote important. Some might not be willing to risk him. Even if he plays he may be subbed early, and may not goal kick
Likely VC option Haas also out, so have a guess at who you'd like

We will get the KNik score regardless. After the Saturday games we will know Host's and Bula's scores. If they are both very good you don't have to do anything and at the end of the round we will avoid Alamoti's score

If they do not score well then we will probably want to take a punt on Alamoti
If Bula has scored more than Host, swap Manu with Bird
If Host has scored more than Bula, swap JDB with Alamoti



Hopefully this goes part of the way to making up for the 36 points that I potentially cost the team last round by not checking back in after I voted

Is that because we looped Alamoti/Lemelu rather than Host/KNik?

Nobody expected Host to go as badly as he did. I think the loop we had made sense without the benefit of hindsight

I would have suggested a slight modification of the one I did for Shady2K in the looping thread. Just have Bird and Host in place of Manu and Luke and substitute into EDG instead of CTR. Would have probably required a vote to decide whether to gamble on KNik or Warbrick's score

That's a good setup though , its as close to perfect information loop as we can hope for

Next minute, Cleary is out and we play with 17 anyway

If you go with it, you'll probably have to override the current voting for VC (maybe even C if Manu gets some more votes)

good point. Given the doubt around Cleary though, I think its important to maximise VC option before considering looping.

We'll see how close SJ gets in the voting

Get to see both Host and Bula play

A. Do nothing. JDB comes in for Haas. Host comes in for Loeiro (no Bula)

B. Swap Alamoti to CTR, Bird to EDG, Loeiro to 17. (all lock out on Sunday) JDB comes in for Haas, Bula comes in for Loeiro (no Host)

C. Swap Alamoti and JDB. JDB comes in for Haas, Bula promoited to JDBs spot. Host comes in for Loeiro (No Alamoti score)


Any mistakes there? It does seem to guarantee us best score out of Bula/Host after seeing both play, or take both of them for Alamoti if they both do well.
I did perhaps make lineup more complex then needed by trying out 3 way loops.

Looks even better than my original, and we get to have Manu as VC

Now for Host, Bula, and Alamoti to disappoint us and all score like crap

I think many teams have a good chance to win this season. But I especially like the performance of my favorite team, which currently ranks high in the table. I think that in the next games it should pay attention to the defense, because the recent results showed that it can concede in this aspect.
