Yeah, the teams listed as home for magic round get the money

Fair enough, cheers that makes sense then

Missed the first half of this game due to dinner but see Host has already outscored my captain Hynes haha.

Anyways the coronation is still banging, choir stuff and all that
Mrs has it on in the background but I just want to see the military precession.
Been in a few and love seeing the pomp of a military march and the brits do it the best.

Usually they get paid to play there, ie Cairns pays the 'home' team 1mil to take a game there.
Plus they can get fans and support from that area.

I think the sharks have a different earnings arrangement (tickets and food) due to owning their own ground as well
Still an advantage to playing at home too, plus benefits to local business etc

Anyways I am not knocking magic round I just couldn't make sense for the Dolphins/Broncos to not call this their home game and both get 12 each?

Not going to die on a hill for this, just thought it was weird thats all

I dont know if the broncos would be against it, maybe? Iirc it started originally as manly home game because they played a double header at suncorp. Ie it was beneficial for manly financially.

Anyway its no matter to me. Broncos can play 10 games at suncorp and 14 away for all i care. No draw will ever be perfect

Mrs Cow also swapped over to the coronation at half time. Becoming King of England seems to involve building a pillow fort to hide in first

It'd be real nice if the Storm players could learn how to hold the ball and not give away stupid penalties

Anyone who started with Wilton (not me) has made their $150k and got a player averaging 50+ along the way. Well done.

You can't grab a guy's head and smash it into the ground.

Unless there's a bit of white paint under there and then it's totally OK.

Katoa, Loiero, Carty and others were all a fair bit cheaper, and in fairness none of those were bad picks themselves
