not sure who you expect to score more but Edwards this week seems the cash play.

    Burbo's official BE is 25.
Footystatistics doesn't cater for his true price being less than $220k.

If you like him, he's still a buy, but just tempering expectations

Yeah this is why I'm waiting a week, even if he scores well he won't go up much because of his true price being below 220k.

BE -9 no brainer for me.

I still don't get people trading in people because of a low BE

In 3 weeks time, that BE is gone, but the player is still in your team.

Now for Harrison Edwards in particular, if he's still starting lock in 3 week, then he's likely going to be a good buy whatever his BE is this week. But when people are starting to run out of trades, trading in someone for 3-4 weeks, knowing you'll have to trade them out again shortly after, just seems like a way to run out of trades with a bunch of missies and bench players in your team

Yeah I agree. In my case I'm buying because he's looked really good when he's played, and Ciraldo isn't averse to playing the rookies like some other coaches are (like he did with Preston). That would still be the case even if his BE was 20-30 instead of -9

I certainly like the look of Harrison Edwards more than Burbo.

Not sure its a good idea to bring both in (although it would help with getting a Hynes fund together for after origin)

Thinking Burbo could be my choice for the same reason. Edwards would have been a nice get last week.

Cherry picking in the extreme, take it with an entire shaker of salt, but he averages 51 when playing 2RF for the Eels.

In fact, his last three games in the second row for the Eels have netted fantasy scores of 51, 52, and 53. So presumably we can expect a 54 this week, and a 66 by R26.
    Outstanding analysis.

If you're trading in both Burbo and Edwards then you don't know fantasy.

I know this because I am trading them both in and I clearly have no idea what I'm doing this year.

Maybe dumb but I have no plans to drop Miller at this point, lost money be damned, scores aren’t  great right now but he’s a bye-friendly goal-kicking fullback with a fantasy-friendly style of play and I’m loath to kick the 5th highest averaging WFB given how much of a shitshow that position is this year.
    This 100%

If Miller is your biggest problem then you are absolutely killing it.

Its more that your post was an easy one to find when talking about something that crops up in a lot of places

Edwards is also not a great example, as he has many signs suggesting he'll be a decent buy besides his BE.

But as the common saying goes, use BEs to determine when to buy, not who to buy.
Getting someone just because they have a low BE generally is just chasing whoever got a big score last week, and often does not end up well.

    At this stage

DUNSTER to SIMONSSON - I need to WFB for Origin SIMONSSON will be DPP R14 and scores reasonably at CTR - lowish B/E and should at least make money before being a trade out R20.

LANE to HEDWARDS - seems like a no brainer considering the cash generation and that I already have EDG and MID covered for R13 without another

I will hold of on trading Suaalii until next week probably for PENISINI (origin coverage) but maybe for LEMUELU or even BURBO if that is looking fruitful
