Rabbits21 wrote:I had a strong round a 991. Rank up from 627 to 391 overall. Burbo hurt today. As does having gone Robson in when I honestly didn’t expect Cook to miss origin. I’ll still probs grab Cook anyway. Other plan  was maybe selling Teddy over origin now but it’s probably not worth it.

Might get Moses and Cook anyway, Robson will be useful for Round 16 don’t think I can rely on I Kat as a half this week for round 13 as I thought he came off injured the other night.

Burbo probs too cheap to sell to anyone under 300k? Probs not gonna be anyone? I’ll need Bird named this week otherwise I’ll probs only be fielding 10 this round 13, 11 with Bird. Probs gonna lose ranks anyway down to 15 trades likely use 2 this coming week not keen on using more using a third would take me down to 12 trades yikes……..

How did Kiraz look today? Score looks very underwhelming without a try and with the try he only got 30 does he still look injured?

Early thoughts T. Boyd to Cook and Cheese to Moses uses all my bank gives me….

(If JDB makes origin it’s another headache)

There is just so much carnage gonna have to take a hit somewhere…..

Round 13 if I do the two trades

    Cook
    JDB Horse Tatola
    Hopgood ………
    SJ Moses
    Bird Lemu
    Miller AJ

Those 11 would  be my round guys probs not good enough hey……

Remaining 10 squad members are Robson, Haas, Loiero, Preston, Cleary, Teddy, Bula, I Katoa (will sell to Olopau round 14), Manu, Burbo…..

Are any of those 10 worth selling to get 12 on the park for round 13? Or just take the hit?

P.S. I’m over Fittler and his galaxy brain garbage fuck him and go the Maroons! Then Fittler might get the boot……… I feel bad for Damien today call me bias but I felt he deserved to be there……… oh well their loss is fantasy gain and Souths gain over this period!

And well done to all you right up the top it’s crazy crazy insanely impressive I’m not sure how you guys do it but it’s bloody awesome…….

Do you need Cook if you've got Robson? Always a chance Robson scores a try and out scores Cook anyway

That will be one of the big questions of the week.

If you already have a R13 hooker, is it worth trading Cook in
My gut says its a bit of a wasted trade (unless that hooker is Granville or someone equally average)

But Robson/JMK to Cook seems not worth it. And trading Cook in on top of Robson/JMK seems like leaving too many points off the table

Was planning 1 trade for R13

Now probably going to need at least 3 with my fringe Origin players being selected. Frizell now a sell missing 13, 14, 16. Walsh apparently selected also

    Good Question

Boyd Hopgood Cleary Mitchell & Ford

I am guessing Boyd Hopgood and Cleary will stay all year... with Ford also likely due to the number of trades I have made

Mitchell misses quite a few games over the next little while so he might go

    Awesome round mate!

Was just looking at the month and I'm sitting 6th, tempting to go a little extra harder at rd13 for sure but don't really have the trades remaining for that luxury. A good 45 odd points behind you.

Cheers mate. Worth a crack I think if the trades can help your overall position too. I might only end up with 10 players (if Turbo and Horse get picked for Origin), so you should have me covered.

I mean, the downside of this is that I have used a lot of trades... 14 left at the moment. But looking back, not too many dud trade ins. Jayden Brailey was unlucky. Lane was looking a bit of a dud trade even before injury. Burbo a wasted trade but again unlucky. BMM not great but not a disaster to have had stewing in the 21 spot.

Moved very early on Bird, Difita, JDB, Horse... that's probably been the difference for me so far, as well as starting with strong centres and not fucking around with Talau/HSS.

Similar for me, I only have 4 originals - Cleary, Haas, Fifita, Boyd.

Just 14 trades remaining also. Brailey really my only disaster trade

Instinctively it seems like Robson to Cook before the third big bye would be the play for Robson owners, if the SoO picture is still the same by then and as long as you have R15 covered.

Yeah surely if you have JMK or Robson, a Cook trade is luxury. And tbh from what we’ve seen this year he might end up scoring less than both anyway. Or NSW lose Game 1 and big brain Fittler makes 7 changes.

I have 7 players I started with - Cleary, Haas, Carrigan, Fifi, Boyd, eKat and CNK. Hops and Cheese have been in and out.

I have 7 players left from my round 1 team - Haas, Cleary, Bird, Walsh, Miller, Ford and IKat, plus Hopgood and Cheese who I sold and bought back (and in Cheese's case am about to sell again)

I hope the guy here that was ridiculed by a few users for suggesting Cook might not make the NSW team feels good about himself if that actually happens.

Manly have produced a surprise mid-season signing by securing Eels halfback Jake Arthur.

Arthur will link Manly with on Monday for his first training session after requesting an immediate release from Parramatta.

Arthur, who has been stuck behind star halfback Mitchell Moses at Parramatta, had been linked with a move away from the Eels earlier this month.

Manly Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold has been on the lookout for a back-up for Daly Cherry Evans, who heads into Queensland Origin camp on Monday.

There were concerns around the short-term future of five-eighth Josh Schuster, who returned to the field in Sunday’s 42-12 win over Canberra.

The Sea Eagles now have Arthur, Schuster and Cooper Johns to share the load while 34-year-old Cherry Evans is on Origin duty.

The Sea Eagles had shown interest in out-of-favour Canterbury halfback Kyle Flanagan, who has been playing hooker in the Bulldogs’ NSW Cup team as coach Cameron Ciraldo has opted for rookie Karl Oloapu in the NRL side.

    More to come.

Cheers for all the responses so far. Normally I'd be on the lower end of originals still remaining by the time the byes rolled around, but on the high end with 9 this time it seems. Only 13 trades still.. so yeah.. revolving door of shittos in the other 12 spots Evil or Very Mad Don't think there's any correlation to rank, but interesting anyways.

Forgot to name my 9 again, but Grant, Haas, Carrigan, Preston, Cleary, Teddy, Miller, Boyd and IKatoa for me.

Interesting, Eels don't exactly have a tonne of halves depth to cover any injuries do they..
